Arkane was always overrated imo.

Prey was cool at first but it dragged far too long and got repetitive. Dishonored series was a mixed bag. Deathloop was wildly overrated and did not deserve those GOTY awards. I'm pretty sure they did the worst Wolfenstein too.

There's a reason why no one truly cared when MS bought them.

But, yeah, I think you're speaking for most people where you say they should've done another immersive sim instead of a goofy Left 4 Dead 3: Vampire Edition type game. They could've turned it into some real horror shyt too if they went the immersive sim route.

Buy a book read it forever. Buy a movie or TV series watch it forever. Buy an album listen to it forever. Why should only video games be tied to some company's good graces of whether or not you can play what you own.

Ok then why mock people who are upset because they buy something marketed as a single player game then find out the single player game is only playable when the servers are live?

We literally have consumers defending purposely drawn up anti-consumer product decisions that result in planned obsolescence. As if there's no way to create a single player mode that doesn't require online servers. This must be the only way. If not for the servers...
