I don't think it's that big of an issue because most people are online anyways, but it would suck if you have spotty internet. However, you have to question what happens 5+ years from now if they were to close servers. I think for game preservation this is a bad move because I don't think it's right to lose access to a single player game if you've paid for it.

Also, just for reference, Dishonored is already 12 years old.

These sorta games are terrible to play single player anyways.

But this looks like a mid game either way. Arkane games always had below average graphics and bad shooting mechanics (which they usually masked by including unique abilities).

You buy it to play it when you can, you're not necessarily entitled to play it forever. I don't like that kind of thing but it's pointless to be upset about it. Arkane was always overrated imo.

Prey was cool at first but it dragged far too long and got repetitive. Dishonored series was a mixed bag. Deathloop was wildly overrated and did not deserve those GOTY awards. I'm pretty sure they did the worst Wolfenstein too.

There's a reason why no one truly cared when MS bought them.

But, yeah, I think you're speaking for most people where you say they should've done another immersive sim instead of a goofy Left 4 Dead 3: Vampire Edition type game. They could've turned it into some real horror shyt too if they went the immersive sim route.
