One of the great things I've learned since discovering orthodoxy is the purpose of continuous fasting for spiritual purity during prayer. We dont consider it completely but our subconscious desires and wants become distorted depending on how "fed" we are. Throughout the Bible many prophets, priests and kings fasted for guidance and understanding.

or

2) You talk with the Son of G-d for 20 minutes.

Note#1: the redesign cannot be fantastical, e.g. you shooting laser beams from your eyes. The redesign must be grounded in this reality/existence.
NOTE#2: you cannot redesign your life to speak with the Son of G-d or anything in the spiritual.

the word holy is the biggest stumbling block to all believers but once you understand the hurdle everything changes.

If you understand that god is whole and complete you will also realize that things of a whole nature are also circular. @DoubleClutch @Koichos

Genesis is an example of a "holy" or "whole" text because it is in fact circular(some would argue concentrically circular). If you want to discern between books that are and aren't holy consider this when you read them.
