I'm playing the game again and randomly Dutch said to me in camp (chapter 2)

"I know you'll stab me in the back in the end, Arthur you seem like the type"

Arthur was like what the hell is up with you :dwillhuh:

I have an idea for Red Dead Redemption 3 it involves Mary (Arthur's ex)

On the first Mary mission where she sends you a letter to meet her on a farm she tells Arthur that the dude she married over Arthur died of pneumonia.

I thought :ohhh:

What if, in RDR3 we play as this unknown guy who stole Mary from Arthur (make Arthur somewhat of a rival to this guy, both vying for her love) he's also an outlaw, miscreant like Arthur but Mary has no clue, is also from a different gang and leads a double life. He's dies of pneumonia at the end. It'd be :russ: because we'd still be dealing with Mary Linton again but we'd get to see young Arthur frequently and cameos of Dutch and Hosea.

They can really go any direction with the red dead franchise since they have so many vague references to off screen characters that could be fleshed out.

I’m with it would be cool to go even further back to see younger Arthur and Dutch that gang saw some shyt. Would love to see the start of the O Driscoll war.

Id be down with even seeing more of Jack Marsden after the ending of RD1. They can take a lot of different routes , even go with a fresh story it’s the one game setting where we haven’t seen it all:blessed:

No that Jack after RDR1 shyt needs to be deaded. It defeats the purpose of red dead being a western.

Making a Red Dead with Jack in the 1920's like all those idiots on YT were wanting is a terrible idea. Red Dead is a cowboy western franchise. Driving cars and shyt is not red dead at all. It's exactly why many of fans aren't in the game industry thankfully, too many people with shytty franchise ending ideas

Dutch will kill you then stand over your body just crying “You left me no choice!” :damn:
