I already beat TLOU2 but the more I play it, the less I care about the story

They force the Abby character on you by forcing you to play as her for half the game
The entire game felt like one huge attempt to get you to like this new character and rationalize the way they go about it
I would have preferred a standard revenge story with Joel coming along but this time Ellie is the protagonist and Joel is the side kick
Joel could still die but they could have went about the story better because it's forgettable

"He" had to die imo after the events of the first game...As I've said in the other threads, the fact they killed him ain't the problem, its how they killed them and what followed it...

Piss poor execution and the cheesy dialogue made it even worse...

The story still dissappoints me
I don't understand why Neil was trying to push Abby as a character so hard to the DETRIMENT of everything else
Too many things were forced in this game
Part 2 was Abby's game with Ellie on the cover

I always felt that Dutch was just as grimey and uncivilized as a guy like Colm o'Driscoll but he wanted to seem more important than the common outlaw hence the way that he always spoke like a politician and the fancy clothes & rings he always wore. I'm in Chapter 2. It's the controls. I just can't get over them. I'll pick it back up over the weekend when I have time, but right now I'm just trying to enjoy the game and the controls aren't allowing me to.
