Going from black ops, gow, spider man to this is kinda hard
The gunplay in this game is also pretty bad, I’m enjoying the story and the world, but moving around and fighting is pretty trash.

I just played a little, eating some dinner right now. Quick thoughts: The controls didn't surprise me; they felt like typical Rockstar games affair. I put the deadzone down to 0 and acceleration all the way up for aiming. I just got back to the camp,slept and the lady(i think Abigail) is telling Arthur to go find this boy. Now me and Javier are trekking with the horses.
Judging from the opinions of users online, it appears that Rockstar has veered off too much in the "realism" spectrum and have created a beautiful but clunky game. Naughty Dog games have the best balance of incredible animation/detail that doesn't frustrate players when in control.
Stuff like this is why Naughty Dog is unparalleled in gameplay/graphics blending. And this is from an Xbox fanboy.

Naughty Dog games if you've ever played them, doesn't control like someone sinking in quick sand and yet still has beautiful animations. Rockstar games favor ragdoll physics that feel controlling a horse, even when not on a horse.
