Non-Fiction is prolly one of my favorite 90s rap albums.

Hell, Dres was on Juan Ep and telling his life story, but if you heard the 2nd track on Non-Fiction you knew the whole thing already..... but they didn't even discuss the album.

"it's the Brown Child Hour
Better version of the story
See.... Kanji's the sister. Mother played by Tori.
In the story a kid named Tiki took the cake.
And the greens, and the steak, and the potatoes AND the plate.
Never a dummy. Projections are funny.
See, the first years of my life, I thought that food stamps was money...."

Dres a HIGHLY underated spitter and a real real dude.

Yeah Dres is fukking ill, had some of the best lyricism and flows of the 90's. Mr Lawnge was cool too, they had good creative chemistry. Unfortunately both of them just got overshadowed by Tribe and De La (who are also great of course) but Black Sheep could really hold their own.

Non-Fiction isn't even available these days on services like Spotify / Apple Music, which is actually kind of fukked up if you think about it. The other albums are still there though

Goddamn - DV Alias Khrist was supposed to be an East Coast Nate Dogg on the strength of the work he put in on this album. :ohlawd:

I only remember Trigga on 'The Nutty Professor soundtrack (Matter of fact that soundtrack was fukking crack too) and 'Bust' I'm certain he was signed to Def Jam.

Their cameo on the 'Danger' remix. Nikkas rhymed backwards :mindblown:

I saw them both live in London with Ice years ago.

If Trigga didn't get dropped from Def Jam, they could have been a problem.

i have a weird love for this album

it's a dope ass album, and a personal classic

it represents the bad boy sound 100%... beats and features were off the chain

I read somewhere back when this album came out that dr dre saw lil cease somewhere and told him how much he loved the album, and cease was mind blown lol
