This season is already a great success. Making the playoffs is gonna be tough with these last 2 matchups, but even going .500 surpasses my preseason expectations.

AD is a beast, didn't think he'd come back so strong. We're a slightly upgraded passing game away brehs.

fukk this shyt, we're not worried about the Pack right now... We need to worry about this road game against the Texans.....

The Pack at home for the final game of the season with the Rushing Record and Playoffs on the line though? Yeah that'll be a great story as well.. :obama:

That 8-8 season :wow:

Everyone wearing their hair down to show people it was all or nothing :wow:

Beating Green Bay in Lambeau and Moss mooning the crowd :gladbron:

Punk ass Red McCombs getting rid of Moss in the offseason :sadbron: :to:

But yeah, the season is still alive and I got a lot of hope :whew:

I had us going 9-7 this year so no matter how it ends up I can't be mad. Love our D Coordinator, we need to answer questions at Quarterback sooner than later though. Haven't had a franchise guy since Pep and that was way too long ago. Everyone else in the division is set at QB and will be for a while.

But I digress.

One game at a time. We gotta get past Houston to give the best possible chance.

Ponder got married Monday so I hope he's focused :childplease:

And with the way Ponder has been playing, I'm embarrassed to have his name in the thread title :wow:

With Adrian showing his ass this season you GOTTA be better than this. It should not be a struggle for a dude in the NFL to do more than 100 something yards week in and week out. We can talk about receivers and O Coordinators all day long but if it's such a trend the problem is the QB.

I live in Cali now too, originally from VA. Visited Minneapolis one weekend when they played Seattle during the 2009 season and it was :ahh:

Made me and the wife plan to move there, but other things brought us to LA instead. It still has a special place in my heart though :wow:

What do you guys think about this game coming up? Matt Schuab's ability to not turn the ball over scares me more than Arian Foster... We need turnovers to win this game because we all know AD will get his...

The chase for the record is motivating the entire team though... You know it is when Khalil is running 82 yards with Peterson to congratulate him in the endzone in St Louis...

I don't think we win out/make the playoffs without AD catching that record. It is a individual record but a team accomplishment... You see it in the way these guys block for him... Even Rudolph out there pancaking dudes... They see it that he is carrying the team on his back so the least they can do is block their asses off...

I hope Robinson is ready... If not.. Griffin will do just fine in the starting spot. shyt this offseason I would even entertain putting Jared Allen on the trading block... See what we could get for him...

Also, If we don't lock up Percy, and he decides to test the free agency next year, I say we make a run at D. Bowe or Mike Wallace this offseason as well...

I went back for a friends wedding... Minnesota during the summer:noah:

The lakes, the clean air... It was nice... Then I came back for thanksgiving and it reminded me why I love the west coast so much:upsetfavre:

If I ever start a family... I am definitely considering moving back...

Don't forget, Cook is back this week too. Vikings were ranked 8th best against the pass through the first half of the season, after that (and Cook getting injured) they've dropped to 23rd. Granted, the schedule did get harder, but that's worth noting also. Teams don't throw Cook's way a lot. Not saying that'll equate to turnovers, but hopefully Schaub won't be able to just do whatever he wants all day.

And about Percy, I have a strange feeling he's played his last game as a Viking. With them never out of the playoff race, it was just odd that they shut him down for the season right away over an ankle injury. Plus he was demanding trades in the offseason and voicing displeasure. Match that with Ponder's poor play and him getting into it with Frazier and who knows. Just got a gut feeling. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Whether they lock him up I think they have to go after a WR in free agency. The draft is cool and maybe they can grab one there too but we need a guy in here ASAP. Jennings looks like he's about to be done in Green Bay after this season and the Vikes do have a history of grabbing ex Packers :manny:

Kalil, Smith, Robinson was a great first three draft picks last offseason. Hopefully they grab some guys this offseason with high picks that can come in and contribute right away also. I think wide receiver and linebacker will be the biggest areas of focus. Possibly a DT also.

Im really worried about Christian again. Im hoping he doesnt turn the ball over against the Texans defense and im not sure who will be blocking JJ Watt either. Will Kalil get some looks at blocking him? Im wondering.

I think AD does his thing, the dude is determined to push himself and the team as far as he can go. He definitely goes over 100 and gets a score. Maybe he gets 297 yards and breaks his own game record :youngsabo:

The defense should be able to hold the Texan offense. Im really liking how the secondary is coming along too. Harrison Smith and Josh Robinson are two great pieces maybe the secondary can force some turnovers
