I went back for a friends wedding... Minnesota during the summer:noah:

The lakes, the clean air... It was nice... Then I came back for thanksgiving and it reminded me why I love the west coast so much:upsetfavre:

If I ever start a family... I am definitely considering moving back...

I feel you on that. I've been in Cali for a little under 3 months and am already shivering at the "cold" weather we're experiencing. I know if I go back to VA to visit family I'll be freezing. So I know Minnesota falls/winters are ridiculous after getting used to the west coast.

Im really worried about Christian again. Im hoping he doesnt turn the ball over against the Texans defense and im not sure who will be blocking JJ Watt either. Will Kalil get some looks at blocking him? Im wondering.

I think AD does his thing, the dude is determined to push himself and the team as far as he can go. He definitely goes over 100 and gets a score. Maybe he gets 297 yards and breaks his own game record :youngsabo:

The defense should be able to hold the Texan offense. Im really liking how the secondary is coming along too. Harrison Smith and Josh Robinson are two great pieces maybe the secondary can force some turnovers

I forgot about JJ Watt :whoa:

That could be a problem. Reason being, Christian's problems aren't because he can't throw an accurate pass or read a defense. This isn't mentioned much but I think dude is fragile mentally. I SWEAR to you if you look back at this season, the thing was that he's super accurate, doesn't make mistakes, going for most consistent games without an INT, and then that very first game he throws a pick, he's turned to shyt ever since.

Happy feet in the pocket, looking at the rush, not reading, brain freeze and throwing it in traffic just because, leaving the pocket when he still has time... A good pass rush will make an already skittish dude like that make some mistakes.

I also like how Smith and Robinson are coming along. Robinson is getting picked on and scored on lately which I actually love. Dude is always in position and scrappy but is getting plays made on him. I love it when a DB with talent gets beat up on early in his career to get it out of his system and quickly learn how to have a short memory. He's having to go up against top notch guys and has all the tools to keep getting better and isn't afraid of the moment so I don't worry about him at all.

Yeah once he feels pressure he's rattled and I think with Percy being out he's really being affected even more. But it really wouldnt hurt the offense to get Kyle Rudolph more involved. I really dont see why him and AD couldnt carry our offense for these last 2 games. But yeah if they can keep Watt off him hopefully he can get comfortable.

Don't forget, Cook is back this week too. Vikings were ranked 8th best against the pass through the first half of the season, after that (and Cook getting injured) they've dropped to 23rd. Granted, the schedule did get harder, but that's worth noting also. Teams don't throw Cook's way a lot. Not saying that'll equate to turnovers, but hopefully Schaub won't be able to just do whatever he wants all day.

And about Percy, I have a strange feeling he's played his last game as a Viking. With them never out of the playoff race, it was just odd that they shut him down for the season right away over an ankle injury. Plus he was demanding trades in the offseason and voicing displeasure. Match that with Ponder's poor play and him getting into it with Frazier and who knows. Just got a gut feeling. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Whether they lock him up I think they have to go after a WR in free agency. The draft is cool and maybe they can grab one there too but we need a guy in here ASAP. Jennings looks like he's about to be done in Green Bay after this season and the Vikes do have a history of grabbing ex Packers :manny:

Kalil, Smith, Robinson was a great first three draft picks last offseason. Hopefully they grab some guys this offseason with high picks that can come in and contribute right away also. I think wide receiver and linebacker will be the biggest areas of focus. Possibly a DT also.

I think JJ Watt plays all over...

I feel like they learned from the Green Bay game that it is not the time to develop Ponder anymore... They realize they have a chance at the Playoffs and Limiting Ponder to 24 attempts or less and feeding AD is the way to go... Atleast that has been the trend in the Bears and Rams games....

Our Depth at safety is :whew:... I mean we have 3 guys that are solid starters and one future Pro Bowler in Harrison Smith...

Our Corners once Cook(the best corner in the NFC north when healthy) comes back are solid too... Josh Robinson will be able to replace Winfield when he retires, and then You got Jefferson who we picked up from Arizona... He pisses me off and excites me at the same time... He is a big body like Cook with great cover skill, but his ball skills are trash... But that is something he can improve at. He is always right there with the WR, but fails to play the ball.. We'll need him and cook's height to battle Megatron, Marshall, & Jones...

What I reallylove is how fukking solid our Special teams are... Kluwe was a little shaky in that GB game, but he bounced back nicely against Chicago/St. Louis...

Blair Walsh is a stud and he broke Randy Moss' Viking Rookie Scoring record, its great to know we don't need to worry about a FG kicker for the next 10 years...

Our coverage on Punts and Kickoffs is solid...

If only Percy didn' get hurt, our return game is missing him...

I really hope we keep Percy, but I see him opting out... after next season... Maybe they put the franchise tag on him?

I am iffy on Greg Jennings... I feel like part of his success was ARod, but I could be wrong.... Mike Wallace will be looking for a BIG check though so he might not be possible... Bowe and Jennings might be our best options...

Mike Wallace's speed on the outside with Percy burning on the inside though:merchant:

Draft wise... I think we go for DT/WR/G/LB/WR in that order...

We're on the come up though brehs... I'm always telling dudes.. Vikings compete every 3-4 years... Thats our thing...

:lawd: beautiful team win.

Houston was dedicated to stopping AD so the whole team stepped up. Christian played a great game......(by his standards) he was efficient and didnt turn the ball over, made the nice TD to throw to Rudolph and had some nice plays with his feet.

The O-line played a great game. They kept the Texans pass rush off Ponder and allowed him to make plays. JJ Watt made some plays but he's a great player so he's gonna eat regardless.

And the defense spoke for itself. They were physical, great against the run and made big plays. If that defense shows up next week, we're going to the playoffs.

:salute: to one of my favorite Vikings teams in recent memory
