i think it's a guy named craig johnson. i don't know much about him other than iirc, he was at tennessee last year. i don't know how much he works with him and how much bill musgrave (offensive coordinator) works with him - but i always see musgrave in his ear.

his game against san diego was a disappointment for me. he just isn't showing the consistency that i'm wanting to see.

imo, it's also now clearly evident that he can't make that deep-out throw or the sideline throw with enough zip (which will be at risk of being a pick-6). his passes also seem to float a lot and his slants don't lead the receiver well - it's either a bit high (putting the receiver in danger) or a tad bit behind, causing the receiver to lose YAC.

one positive is he's showing nice touch on the fly-passes - he puts a little air under the pass and allows the reciever to get to it - as shown by the 2 nice passes to harvin.

:dead: @ our linebacker play.... This is gonna be a long year...

Erin shows some flashes, Chad is the man of the linebacker corps but compared to other teams our linebackers are average to :scusthov: It's definitely been a weakness for a couple years now. The DBs too but I'm encouraged by what I see out of the young guys as long as they can stay healthy. Harrison Smith and Josh Robinson have some real potential.

I got us going 6-10 this season. Development year, then hopefully re-stack the deck and make a run next year.

So final cuts have to be in by 8 p.m. today. I think Aromoshadu made his case to stay at WR. Wright played well and is a special teams threat. I think Blanton stays to eventually fight for a starting spot opposite Harrison at the other Safety position.

Audie Cole (wasn't he a 7th round pick?!) has balled the fukk out all preseason. He's always around the football and will add some much need depth. Gonna be a battle between Asiata and Todman for the 3rd RB spot. They both played well. It might come down to who adds the most on special teams.

On an unrelated note, anyone going to a game this season?

Great game, highs and lows....I was pissed at the end of regulation.

Still not expecting big things but losing to the Jags would have been tough to take.

To be honest, they pulled that shyt out they ass..

It was the same shyt as last year..

MJD was runnin through em..

They couldn’t get off the field on 3rd down.

The secondary is still horrible...Chris Cook turned the wrong way on that bomb for the TD from Gabbert like a fukkin dikkhead..

I left after that shyt..

Was pleasantly surprised when I got home from the bar..

A.D. is the personification of determination and heart..

He ran with authority and proved his valor yet again..

Vikes got games against Arizona, St Louis, Tennessee and Indy (next week) on the schedule. 2 of those should be W's at least, and they could realistically win all 4.

Those division games are going to be tough though.
