that's how football works when you don't have an elite QB.
Ehh I guess.
I don't think they have a shot at the playoffs though.
I`d say they're between 5-11 and 8-8

He wasn't great in that game, he was awful on third down but look at the WR's, we had NONE.
And also, KW is the reason we lost that game, he put the Giants on the 20 yard line twice, they scored 10 points from that.
Alex could have done a whole lot more to help us win, but then again so could have Gore.
And if you don't recall, the Giants went on to win the SB, the Giants you are not.
11 points aint a blowout.
I`m just gigging on em when I say smash them, I don't honestly believe it`ll be 30-7 or anything like that.
I just seen the Jets offense crumble against the damn Dolphins, how they gonna fair against a great defense with an offense that doesn't make the mistakes to help the other teams offense.
I just think you underestimate coaching in NFL, a lot of people expect a player to be good anyways with bad coaching, but that's using NBA Logic. You don't need an elite QB to make the playoffs, just good coaching.
You expect Sanchez to be some great quarterback when Brian Schottenheimer is terrible offensive coordinator ?

I don't expect the JEts offense to be as inept this coming season. They led the league on 3 and outs last year due to inept coaching, quarterbacking, and poor running schemes.
I think that will change this season.
breh you have Sparano, so you remain with a terrible offensive coordinator who cannot develop a QB to save his life

What I don't get is he was so terrible when he helped the Jets get to two AFC championships?
I don't think he is good either, but I think he knew Sanchez was limited. Look at happened when they tried "opening it up", it was a disaster.
Put it this way....I was at the Jets/Dolphins game a few years back when Penny was your QB. The second the Dolphins saw Dwight Lowery come in at corner, they went directly at him, the second throw resulting in a 40 yard TD pass to Ginn over him. I actually posted about it on sohh. Say what you want about Sparano, but I haven't seen a Jets offensive coordinator do as little a thing as that in YEARS.
He's an upgrade.
Dolphins have a great defense
he might be, but he won't be the guy to develop a QB
he's a conservative, run-first guy
his offensive style is terribly boring. Your defense will probably keep you in most games but I feel like you're inability to put points on the board will ultimatly be the failure of this team.
that said,
I'm not sure why, but I expect Sanchez to step it up a bit this season and unlike many others, I don't see Tebow taking over his job
edit : damn I miss Chad P, he was so good to us, that's my QB
