Ehh I guess.

I don't think they have a shot at the playoffs though.

I`d say they're between 5-11 and 8-8

softer schedule, absurdly unlucky last season with turnovers... only missed field goal against the Jets last year was a Janikowski 60 yarder(basically a better chance of winning the lottery than that happening again)....I expect things to return closer to the mean this year for the Jets and a larger focus on protecting the football.

Just like with SF....zero shot they win 14 games again. That's a 9,10,11 win team.

He wasn't great in that game, he was awful on third down but look at the WR's, we had NONE.

And also, KW is the reason we lost that game, he put the Giants on the 20 yard line twice, they scored 10 points from that.

Alex could have done a whole lot more to help us win, but then again so could have Gore.

And if you don't recall, the Giants went on to win the SB, the Giants you are not.

When did I compare Jets to Giants ? Lol

Giants defense did improve their play, but their corners sucked, how you can't complete passes to your wide receiver ?

Also, Harbaugh coached a bad game too, dude was going pass crazy for no reason.

11 points aint a blowout.

I`m just gigging on em when I say smash them, I don't honestly believe it`ll be 30-7 or anything like that.

I just seen the Jets offense crumble against the damn Dolphins, how they gonna fair against a great defense with an offense that doesn't make the mistakes to help the other teams offense.

:childplease:

Dolphins have a great defense

I just think you underestimate coaching in NFL, a lot of people expect a player to be good anyways with bad coaching, but that's using NBA Logic. You don't need an elite QB to make the playoffs, just good coaching.

You expect Sanchez to be some great quarterback when Brian Schottenheimer is terrible offensive coordinator ?

breh you have Sparano, so you remain with a terrible offensive coordinator who cannot develop a QB to save his life

I don't expect the JEts offense to be as inept this coming season. They led the league on 3 and outs last year due to inept coaching, quarterbacking, and poor running schemes.

I think that will change this season.

What I don't get is he was so terrible when he helped the Jets get to two AFC championships?

I don't think he is good either, but I think he knew Sanchez was limited. Look at happened when they tried "opening it up", it was a disaster.

Put it this way....I was at the Jets/Dolphins game a few years back when Penny was your QB. The second the Dolphins saw Dwight Lowery come in at corner, they went directly at him, the second throw resulting in a 40 yard TD pass to Ginn over him. I actually posted about it on sohh. Say what you want about Sparano, but I haven't seen a Jets offensive coordinator do as little a thing as that in YEARS.

He's an upgrade.

It's funny. You're now questioning Jets fans for not giving Sanchez props for "helping" the Jets to get to two AFC championships, then you eventually revert back to Jets fans overrating Sanchez.

:rudy:

You don't know whether you're coming or going.

Point blank, this is a make or break year for Sanchez. To me, he can't throw the deep pass worth shyt and is always a split second late in his decision making. But what he does do well is that he isn't scared of the big moment and the upside is that there is a clear track record of quarterbacks having BETTER YEARS once Schottenheimer is gone.

he might be, but he won't be the guy to develop a QB

he's a conservative, run-first guy

his offensive style is terribly boring. Your defense will probably keep you in most games but I feel like you're inability to put points on the board will ultimatly be the failure of this team.

that said,

I'm not sure why, but I expect Sanchez to step it up a bit this season and unlike many others, I don't see Tebow taking over his job

edit : damn I miss Chad P, he was so good to us, that's my QB :to:

Dolphins have a great defense

Point being and they beat you.

And they were ranked 15th in overall defense and 6th against the ppg.

The 49ers were 2nd in ppg and 4th overall.

Logic tells me that our defense will shut you guys down, plus the Jets offense will play right into our hands with Sporano wanting to run

I feel you....but you don't understand...it's one thing to be boring, but it's another when you can run the ball three straight times for 25 yards and suddenly go five wide three straight plays.

You really have no true understanding of how stupid a playcaller Schotty was unless you're forced to sit through Jets games every week.
