I think I had access to what.cd a while back but I lost my login information or the invite expired. From what I was told you can find anything on it. Flac files galore.

I remember those days. I still have about 50 CDs I made with songs I got form Napster in my dad's basement. You could find anything you want on there. It was a beautiful time and a pure free-for-all. The industry shut it down, and now are feeling the backlash from it. One of the guys behind Napster helped Zuckenberg establish Facebook and fukk over his best friend.

There probably won't be another Napster and there really doesn't need to be. I was on Napster for music and the pr0n. Music can still be had with great speed and the pr0n is EVERYWHERE.

'02 Freshmen year in college, discovering Limewire. :lawd::wow::noah::ahh:

But I was still using dialup :deadrose:

So in the mornings, I would type in all the mp3 individually for one album, and come home to 100% completion. :to:

But, some day's it would stiil be at 40%. :sadcam:

Remember, determing if you wanted a full song, by listening to the slow completions over and over, until you realized you didn't want it anyway.

Finally getting DSL and discovering mediafire :ohlawd::dead: at the Matrix speed.

im not sure if this is related or not..does anyone remember the first rap album to "leak" onto the net?? i remember they were making a big deal about jay-z's "vol. 3" album hittin the streets (bootleg cds) like a month before it was released (all i remember is it having 3 versions of Hovas song, instead of 2 like the retail version)....im not sure if that was the 1st real leak, but for some reason i always remember that album being big news for being out so early..
