Real talk: Batman 1989 is not a good movie

Most of the Batman movies are trash if we’re being honest.

They won’t be honest though. Almost all them shyts are trash. The best they can be is a “good comic book movie” and they aren’t even that. Especially the Nolan trilogy.

People forgot how huge an influence Nicholson’s Joker was. It had Hollywood featuring villains after it came out. Robin Hood, dikk Tracy, Hook (they named the whole movie after the bad guy), Silence of the Lambs, etc. were all made trying to capture that “villain steals the show” energy.

I never collected the comics but Jack also made the Joker a scary unpredictable psycho instead of a clown like the 60s show.
