yeah me to. i wonder if he lived would he have sustained his excellence. i mean, as we see with nas, jay, dmx etc its not really possible. ghostface is probably the only one who kept up the excellence. but u listen to big and u realise how much doper he was than a lot of todays elite mc's. a song like everyday struggle to me is really miracolous. he could convey so much storytelling and emotion and reality in such few words. he wasted very few words period. and add that to the musicality of his delivery. really a once in a lifetme mc.

A couple years ago some rap mag I cant recall the name of, had him on the cover as a tribute, it was in black and white. He was in a suit and rapping on stage. The photo they used was taken by someone also on stage aimed toward the audience with Biggie also in the scene. The peoples expressions are what makes it a great photo, but cant find it anywhere. Some are holding their heads in amazement, some are just blank faced in shock staring at him, others are screaming..

Good list but he's had a few more too:

The original Big Poppa (You listed only the remix, hello, lol)
Can't Stop the Reign - With Shaq
I Love the Dough - With Jay
All About the Benji's
Running from the Police with 2Pac
This Time Around with Michael Jackson
You To Be (Be Happy) with R Kelly
Why You Trying to Play Me with Arron Hall

Not Mention the ones where had a Classic hook:

Been Around The World
Crush On you
Drugs

When Biggie went in the booth, I'm willing to say 8 or 9 times out of 10 a great song happen. And even on Biggie's weaker songs, he never came wack. Biggie always brought a great verse to the table. Quality OVER Quanity folks.

Reading through the thread & looking at these covers is depressing. All of the "what ifs" & classic music we as hip hop fans were robbed of :snoop:. I don't think there was ever a more dominant run or high quality of music that's been dropped in the short amount of years during his career.
