It's sad to see that so many black people do not know their true history.

It's expected though.

Why do you think slaves weren't allowed to read the Bible?

Nat Turner read everything that the slave masters left out.

It seems that black people are still letting their slave masters dictate their understanding, or lack thereof, of the most prolific ancient texts in human history. Just as bad as foolish black people who sit up in their satanic churches all Sunday dancing and singing.
Real fukking shyt. Dap and repped. Our people are sadly lost. There is a God.

Lol Whats funny is the ancestors were not atheist, yet black atheist try to say they were. Just say you gave up hope due to life experiences, no need to try to come off as smart because most of you guys are not.

Not Following Abrahamic religions does not = athiest, like alot of these smart dumb cats try to make you think. i think agnostic people tend to be the ones with actual sense.

They werent Christians and Muslims tho which is the main point they make

Believing in nothing? Nothing, I'm gathering you mean a higher being? Don't supercede the meaning of nothing as meaning as something that is not proven to be there, and in turn imply that "believing" is simply through the cause of believing in a higher power. You're not born with the concept of a 'god', therefore you implicitly don't believe in that concept, meaning you're an atheist. Again, the void of Agnosticism aside.

nikka you quoted my post I clearly said existential curiousity I didnt say born with a concept of god. You're trying to hard.

Why put agnosticism aside? It makes a lot more sense to be agnostic than atheist

Not all human ancestors believed in a higher being or a variation of it

Well on my fathers side they practiced traditional African spiritual systems, So I can only speak for the real blacks. :mjpls:. So while i understand many on here do not know their ancestrial roots thus have to go with what they feel most comfortable with, i can speak for my family at least which is from a Mande tribe (noting that many AAs come from Mande tribes), with my fathers side practicing traditional African spiritual systems, and my moms side being historically Islamic until chrisitian missionaries came. And even then Africans throughout the dispora mesh traditional african spiritual systems with abrahamic religions, just look at New Orleans and Haiti .

Black people have some of the highest levels of religiosity out of any race....doesn't seem to be doing us much good. We are one of the most despised groups of people on the planet next to the Jews. For people that are fine with race mixing most families would be ok with their sons and daughters marrying any other race but black. We always top the list as being the most impoverished group in any given western nation (not just America). In the US, even illegal immigrants are better off economically than black people who have been here for a few dozen familial generations.

Krishna? Yo, keep that Indian stuff yourself. I'm talking about Jehovah or yasharala.

Oh really? What makes your god any more believable than theirs? Just because you happened to be born into a culture/family that believed in Jehovah doesn't make your "brand" of religion the correct one.
