But he's getting old. Injured. And the star of a sinking, directionless company. He can't carry a roster of one trick ponies and cater to kids like a cartoon character. Eventually Cena won't matter and ratings are going to be TNA status.

People don't want to believe it but PG is killing this company. The only wrestlers with any character depth were built up pre PG. If they've been retooled since then they are one note caricatures. No reason for a guy like Bryan to be a goofy one note heel.

PG also brought more control to creative over the wrestlers' characters. Every fukkING thing has to be checked, double checked, and altered, should it not meet regulation.

I don't know who "doesn't want to believe it" but that's been obvious. PG bullshyt and Cena becoming the face of the company is why everyone like me stopped watching in the first place.

Is it really all to cater to Linda's political aspirations? Because from a business standpoint catering your show to a PG audience makes zero sense. Little kids will still want to and still WILL watch a show for an older audience ie. Attitude Era. But older fans are not gonna want to tune in every week for corny bullshyt and cartoon characters. So that's a huge segment of their audience that they've alienated. Then they wonder why ratings have been in a tailspin for the last decade.
