So Cena does a promo that addresses EVERYTHING Punk's been saying this past month and it's nonsensical and stupid. Yet Punk completely ignores it and goes to pick on irrelevant ass King and it's ok

It's nonsensical and stupid because it's not based in reality. Punk already beat Cena for (and defended) the title in every title match they've had for over a year now...but wait, that don't matter cause Cena says he has to face him and walk out the champion at Night of Champions?So Cena does a promo that addresses EVERYTHING Punk's been saying this past month and it's nonsensical and stupid. Why? Because John said so? Cena was better off telling Punk "I'll never respect you as champion," but I guess that goes against his character so he had to address it the way he did.
There are so many different angles he could've gone with the respect thing...he chose none of them. Meanwhile, CM Punk...the WWE Champion who's clearly the only person in the organization who thinks it's important to make the title look important, just got buried in a promo (not because it was good but because of what was said and who said it) by the main guy. The only way to flip that promo was for CM to start shooting. That's why he pulled a Cena...on Cena (who does it just to keep from looking weak on some Hogan shyt).
these dudes are nitpicking hard. only thing they're focusing him no selling the title match, but completely being oblivious to Punk no selling Cena's part.
When it was the Rock, these dudes were making threads after threads about how he got sonned, but to Punk they turn a blind eye.

Of course he had to try to bury Undertaker's streak, Bret Hart, Hogan, Michaels, Savage, Rock, Austin...every big time winner in WM history just to negate that the L clean in the ring to a guy he labeled as a "vistor"

This week's Raw was a step back from last week, not that last week was great or anything but this week was more bland than anything else.
Very enjoyable opening segment with Paul-E doing what he does best, talk and Brock playing the bumpkin bully role perfectly. Despite there not being a need for any interference from anyone in the back, I was surprised that 'creative' didn't have AJ skipping down the ramp.
The 6 man tag match had no appeal for me whatsoever. Truth be told, I was mainly flipping through my Vogue September issue/Uploading gifs. I did however catch Truth/Kofi hawking dolls that weren't of them. Where they do that at? So tired of the Lil' Jimmy ish but whatever, hes obviously moving merch so I expect the silliness to continue.

So anyways, ADR vs Orton w/ Sheamus doing commentary doesn't really interest me. I happen to find all 3 boring and in desperate need of a revamp.
Sandow vs Clay had potential but BC continued to wiggle and grin, turning what should have been serious into a joke. With the involvement of the kids, I hope he at least has some merchandise on deck.
Shawn's speech about Trips was over-the-top and too drawn out. I know how much they love each other
and that's fine but what should have been sad, had me close to tears from laughing.
Otunga vs Show, honestly I barely paid attention, we all know how its going to end. Meh.
D-Bry/Miz vs Kane/Z-Ryder was entertaining. Nothing more, nothing less. I also liked how they did acknowledge the back-story of those involved.

Ziggy vs Jericho, was okay. It's not like we all didn't know how about Jericho leaving. Him getting the better of Ziggy at the end um much like last night's results it didn't really make any sense but okie-doke. Jericho is gone and hopefully his next return (*sigh*) will go better than this one.
The Punk vs Cena face off was interesting. Even though some of what Punk said can be up for debate, I actually found myself slightly enjoying what he was saying. Things went downhill however once Cena started yapping about absolutely nothing. He as usual tries to throw in a dig and that's cute and all but for the most part his mic skills aren't really impressive. The pandering is disgusting and the fact that he shouts about respect, considering his recent situation is laughable. I do not need to see Punk vs Cena again, I didn't want to see it last night at SS but whatever.
Punk picking on King has its moments of hilarity but come on, unless you are going to go all out leave King's old ass alone. There really isn't a purpose behind him beating King, its not like John came rushing back down to save him. I get it though, much like the Trips delusion, 'creative' is thinking that King is as loved as JR.

Cena has the bigger more loyal following, he's the more main event caliber star, and he's considered above the title by many on and offline so he has no reason to lower himself. Then he said no matter what he's gonna get another shot anyway because he knows he's good enough so claiming Punk as the best in the world wasn't worth it.
The only real problem with that promo was that it was delivered in a goody good respectful way instead of a cocky a$$hole like most people on here like to see.

Didn't understand why they ended Jericho/Ziggler like that on Raw. I wish Jericho had just shook Ziggler's hand at the end.
AJ straight up telling Jericho that he will put his career on the line just felt rushed. Instead of Ziggler tricking Jericho into doing it they had to shoehorn AJ into it. I mean yeah we know she's the gm but her telling a wrestler "Your contract won't be renewed if you lose" seems like something a heel with a grudge would do.

She's crazy..she's gonna do what she wants. And they had Foley did alot of heel shyt to make things easy for Cripple H in 2000 when he became GM even though it didn't make ONE ounce of sense.
