What’s to stop them from having the teams that play on Christmas play on MNF the following week and have them coming off a bye leading into the game? I have looked into the logistics but I just assumed that’s how they’d play it.No. They won't have players play on 2 days rest.

They could run 3 games each year for christmas regardless of the day they'd still have more than enough teams for full Sunday/Mon night games, even Sat games that same week if they wanted.
