-Any given night in Newark after 1am, you will hear a car going 100 mph on a residential street doing donuts at the end of the road and circling back :deadmanny:
-Election time - don't try to get any sleep or naps during the day; local political candidates riding in car caravans in neighborhoods, telling people to vote from the loudspeakers or a bullhorn
and the afternoon Newark PD gang or drug sweeps. Police cars 15 deep.
-The neighborhood ice cream truck is suspect, what ice cream truck do you know that's selling ice cream to little kids at 9:30 at night :wtb:
-Driving through certain streets in Newark with out of state tags :mjlol:
-Newark has huuuuuge apartments and condos for reasonable prices in comparison to other larger East Coast cities. Nice clusters of newly constructed or modernized townhouses, multi-family homes, and subsidized rentals based on income.
-Can't pump your own gas, it's all full service
-Decent food places of different varieties.

I have always been surprised by how small the actual cities are in jersey but how big north jersey is. You can literally pass thru all the big cities on the NJ turnpike and never realize NJ is dope.

on another note the Delaware Water Gap on I-80 is one of the most beautiful roadways in America

I wouldn’t mind moving to the area
