Ain’t sh*t going on in Winston, but def not over there in that part of Winston by Glenn. Gotta be closer to downtown or near Hanes mall if you trying to do anything.

Hell, Glenn is in the country part of country ass Kernersville. And yep, Kville full of country wiggers. Nothing but a few country blacks and a lot of country whites in that city.

There's literally a sign on Glenn Hi Rd that says "Winston-Salem city limits" right next to Glenn, and another sign on Union Cross across the street that says "Welcome to Kernersville". That whole Glenn Hi Rd is Winston-Salem and country as fukk, it's literal farms and animals and shyt in between middle class neighborhoods...

It's a decent number of black folk in this area of Winston, ton of Mexicans and some whites. It's diverse, but it's country...

It's borderline but this is definitely Winston, I wish I knew how to upload pics ...

You can see the "city limits Winston-Salem" sign right across the street from Glenn in this picture, it's still there right now...

This is right when you turn on Glenn Hi from Union Cross, this is Winston-Salem my brothers. I know yall may consider it differently but this is the city. I don't know how well yall know this part of town but if you keep straight up Glenn Hi you see multiple farms and everything...

I think this is part of what makes this city feel different too from other Carolina cities, it goes from city-like to suburban to rural in a fukking hurry. Like even out there around Wake Forest, I rode thru the other day, it turns rural fast as shyt. It's just a different look and feel juxtaposed to the other large cities in NC...

I'm not a Winston breh but I gotta disagree here. This is like the outskirts of the outskirts and locals don't consider that Winston. You seem to be a knowledgeable enough city breh so you know cities can annex anything and claim unincorporated land so the city limit sign aint' gonna tell the whole picture. That Glen hi area is much more associated with Kernersville. Glenn High School literally has a Kernersville address lol.

On the topic, Winston is decent. I used to really dislike it when I had to commute there for work about 2010ish. I thought it had a racist vibe and something about it just wasnt' my cup of tea. 10 years later I have to visit there about twice a week and it's grown on me. Probably underrated in all honesty. I think it has potential. It's not a center for high level night life but I do enjoy the restaurant scene. Naturally pretty city. Got a couple professional shorties I'm dealing with out that way now so I fukk with it.

I don't disagree with yall on what locals refer to it as, I'm only pointing out that Glenn High is literally on the border of Kernersville/Winston. Like, if the school was LITERALLY built on the other side if the street, it would have a Winston-Salem address...

Sitting on the border it has residents of both cities attend school here. Glenn Hi Rd is Winston-Salem, I don't know if anyone knows when this area was annexed...

I think it's a decent enough city, my main contentions are that it's somewhat boring, and how it goes from city to suburban to rural in quick succession (as I pointed out earlier, this isn't the only area in Winston I've seen this, it's like this in the WFU area too). But it's respectably diverse, it's clean, visually it's a decent looking city, and it has an interesting downtown that's really attractive...

Outer - Anything near I-40 (blue I-40 sign). All the rural spots are near this interstate
