I always thought Goro killed them all because they did a Goro montage and had his Mike Tyson TKO'ing about a dozen kombatants

There were a couple left I assumed but shyt you could be right and that wouldn't surprise me if that's what happened. Because there were a lot of people around when Johnny fought Goro but I always figured most of them were Goro's fanboys and the dudes who worked for Shang Tsung

ninja turtles (2014)

took my niece to see this for her birthday. i really didn't want to see this movie as i was pissed at how they made the turtles look and because of michael bay, but i had no choice as my niece really wanted to see this. didn't have any expectations other than the typical michael bay explosions, fast sequence action scenes where everything looks like a blur to keep the audience busy and some few corny lines.

surprisingly, there was only one or two explosions in this movie :gladbron:. the fighting scenes were a mess and inconsistent - if you're a fan of old school action, you're definitely not going to like this cgi bullshyt. they were able to get away with it in transformers, but for this movie it was executed horribly. i understand that the turtles themselves are animated, but they should've put more thought and done some decent fighting choreography for fukks sake :stopitslime:. and of course, who else but michaelangelo to bring the comedic lines :skip:.

megan fox is now more hotter to me than ever :ohlawd:. really didn't like how she looked after them surgeries, but i was quite surprised how well she looked in this movie. but the reason why i was so impressed with her in this movie, was that she really took her role serious and did a great job as april o'neal. i really like how they presented her character, and shockingly, there aren't any 'sexy' or revealing scenes in which i thought they would typically exploit :ohhh:. will arnett felt so out of place in this movie. dude looked like he was old enough to be her father, which is creepy cuz he was trying to cast his line towards fox damn near every time he was on screen :scusthov:. bad casting, should've went with someone around fox's age.

the story is easily the worsts of all ninja turtle movies - shredder raising fatherless white babies? :mjlol:the characters were lacking as well. turtles like ralph and michaelangelo aren't hard to replicate as one is the hot head and the other is the air head. but i felt that donnatello as the nerdy turtle was too extreme and leonardo was like some afterthought in which they thought he was too boring to give development. also didn't like the size of each turtle. ralph and donnatello looking like nba size turtles compared to leo and michangelo as bantamweight shells.

all in all, im not mad that i saw it. sure it holds no weight to the 90's movies, but it wasn't as terrible as i thought it was going to be. and my niece really loved this movie so i was happy they she enjoyed herself.

Watched Dawn of The Planet of The Apes and Lucy in the same afternoon (don't judge me brehs I was waiting for a slowass relative)
apes was pretty good. very coherent, good buildup, and the apes looked and acted awesome. 8.5/10
knew there would be some stupid white dude blaming the apes for everything. glad he got smashed by the meanest mofukka in the film
Lucy had a weird beginning.. had you wondering wtf was gonna happen. Then shyt got ultra real. It was a very good concept but could've been executed somewhat better. 7/10.
the way her body gained physical and 'digital' powers was fukking nuts. she could see the fukking phone calls as strands in real time.. and time travel.. and that memory stick though :ohhh::ohhh:
I still can't see the ultimate form of evolution as a white woman with breast reductions though :sas1:

The Searchers
One of the top tier Westerns and John Wayne films.

The Wild Bunch
Another top tier Western. I can tell Quentin Tarantino was inspired by the shootouts from this film

Best Man Holiday: 3.6/5 I enjoyed it, good drama, good acting especially Morris Chestnut in the end. That was very moving. I enjoyed the cinematography and comedy as well. It's nice to see black people presented as regular people with out obnoxious stereotypes, havign successful careers and dealing with regular problems. Great film

Locke 7.5/10 - Hardy can definitely carry a film all by himself.
Only Lovers Left Alive - 8.5/10 - Great film featuring Tilda Swinton about vampires living in modern times
Dom Hemingway - 7.5/10 - small film starring Jude Law. Really went under the radar. Great watch.
Transcendence - 4.5/10 - This was trash. Dumb, expensive, silly, Hollywood trash. Avoid.

300 Rise of An Empire: 4/10 Movie was ass. Cinematography was terrible. Story was stupid, Special effects lackluster. How many battle speeches do we need to hear before they become boring and repetitive. They need to consult the Koreans on some fighting Choreography
