Das Boot (1981) - Director's Cut.

9.5 out of 10.

It's outstanding. That movie was years ahead of its time.
It's only knock is that at over 200 minutes (Director's Cut), the movie just feels way too long.

And for a long time, nothing happens. But that's the point. The movie captures the boredom, fear and anticipation that can happen in a submarine.
The acting was magnificent.

I probably wouldn't watch it again because of how long it is, but one of the best films I've ever seen.

Tammy - 0.2 - 5 (Terribly unfunny, boring, and I pretty much ignored the plot. This movie was the worse movie I seen this summer, so far.)
22 Jump-street - 2.5 - 5 (Predictable with funny moments.)
Lucy - 3 - 5 (Interesting, but I wish that it ended a little differently.)

Divergent 6/10 (how people will watch this and Hunger Games, but refuse to watch Battle Royale is beyond me)

Smileys are killing me breh

but I love the movie, no shame in my game at all. It's got good martial arts, good action, coherent story, and it's simple. It's a play on Enter the Dragon and works well because of it. You understand the motivations of your main three characters, what they all need from this tournament and what they all will lose if they don't win. There are high ass stakes, a good villain who's rightly chewing the scenery in certain scenes, and it has a satisfying ending that is logical based on the story and each character has their moment where they "grow up" It's a movie based on a ridiculous video game and manages to make the fantastical world it inhabits seem tangible
