Ultrawide support, DLSS support, high framerates. Nixxes doesn't fukk around and makes these others devs look lazy as fukk
To be fair, they get years and a finished game to work with for their ports.

Most other PC releases are under extreme time constraints and expected to ship on multiple platforms day one.

plenty of devs with all the time in the world still fukk up PC ports. Nixxes had to fix Horizon Zero Dawn after it released on PC. all the Sony PC ports they weren't involved with had issues. they clearly know what they're doing

Gorilla games had never made a PC port before. Not trying to take anything away from nixes as PC ports is what they do and they are good at it.

I just don’t like the “layzy devs” rhetoric. Most AAA games are coming in hot due to money issues.

Like, sure the Horizon Zero Dawn port buy gorilla wasn’t the best, but it was their circumstance that made the port what it was, not them being “lazy”

Modders can implement ultrawide support and dlss in a week after a release, yet it takes some devs months to implement these features. Nixxes does it all day one. I don't know if it's laziness that is to blame, but something is amiss with a lot of game developers.

Money.

Every single day a game is not out, the publisher is paying thousands of dollars to keep working on it.

Stuff like ultra wide and dlss is low on the priorities lists cause very few people even use those features.

If time and money is tight, and they are just lucky to barely get the game out in any working condition on a dozen platforms day one. Features like ultra wide and dlss will not get much attention.
