He owned slave but situations where freed men owned slaves was very few and far between. However what you are speaking on here is a smoke bomb. I mentioned native americans and not freed men who we knew were slaves with African ancestry and brought here by the slave trade. Among Native Americans however, more of them owned slaves in an attempt to integrate into white society. Some of them mixed with us but where is the proof that we were here before the slave trade.

William Ellison was Mulatto - which was another classification than Black/Negro back then. Do you really think South Carolina would let a Black/Dark skin man enslaved others.

South Carolina as N.O. had a high population of Mulattoes/French Creoles - and they were the sons of their white fathers. Their white fathers would allow them to buy their freedom or sometimes free them or sometimes allow them to run other family plantations -- which is what happened with Ellison. Ellison - did not classify or think of himself as Black. Nor did people see him as such.

As you can. But, your post doesn't answer what I asked.

1832 though? You are presenting something that happened before the TransAtlantic Trade correct? So, anything during the 1600's?

More goalpost moving. That's a CAC telling you that the indigenous people were negro and you have no answer for it...

I have

He was Mulatto -- not Black

BLACK not = MULATTO

You're assumung he wasn't black because of his last name not because of anything substantial. You asked for a black slave owner, got one, then moved the goalpost once proven wrong. Typical

Yes the goalposts move when proven wrong. You laughed at the idea of blacks owning slaves then when shown, you move the goalposts.

Anyways, there is a difference between native Americans and indigenous Americans. And I mean by definition there is a difference. But I'll ask you again, are early depictions proof of who cacs met when they came here? And I mean early depictions drawn by cacs...

This may help you honey  Cause... you been on YouTube and IG Historians/Hoteps way too long. It's kinda sad.

Free Negro owners of slaves in the United States in 1830, together with Absentee ownership of slaves in the United States in 1830 : Woodson, Carter Godwin, 1875- : Free Download & Streaming : Internet Archive

If you look at the database - you will understand and it will break down reasons for you to better understand.

And remember Free Person of Color is usually aka Mulatto - and not Black. Those who were Black were owners for reasons of helping and freeing their family and others.

Then why haven't you explained how you accept an Indian slave trade as happening but need sources on where they were took?

You made the claim honey? “Native American/indigenous trade was internal not external.

They did call “Caribbean’s” aka Caribs “Indian” but they also have the records on file and slave manifest for them - they imported them.

Even if they exported Natives to other places outside of North America — how does that address your claim of those of us here and our ancestors in North America.

We are not Native Americans like that.. stop it.

Again, this shows you haven’t done any real research or even know about laws and acts during those time - nor census classifications.

Mulattos are people with one white parents and many mulattos passed for white as you know — but it was also about ancestry and lineage. French Creole and Spanish Creole tended to free their offspring and allow them to get an education and become owners as well.

Thats who Ellison was. His own children signed up for the confederacy but they didn’t allow mulattoes to fight for them. You think a black man would have done that. The Black confederate thing is a big ass myth.

sorry sweetheart but a woman whose vagina I didnt come out of or am not going into cannot help or teach me anything. Thanks for trying though
:salute:

Well, stay dumb, misinformed and continue to lack credibility cause you don’t want to do real research past a YouTube video or listening/learning from someone who told you some false ish.

This is a hobby for me. I love our history and make sure it’s presented correctly and factually.

Take care

Well since you finally addressed you accepting the Indian slave trade but not where they were taken we can go forward. Would early depictions of the people here constitute proof?

Skin color does not equal Our ancestors. I have seen the photos you are going to post. They are the same pictures everybody else online post.

I want to see more.

Do you have statements or sources from those tribes acknowledging their African ancestors or religions? Maybe even matching up dieties to other dieties in ATR?

These people you will post did not think themselves as black or negro nor do we have their blood or dna in our veins.

They were killed or breeded out and not via us.

What? So cacs come here meet people who look like you but you and most everybody else were still brought here on slave ships?

Your questions don't even make sense. Why would blacks indigenous to america mention African ancestry?

These people you will post did not think themselves as black or negro nor do we have their blood or dna in our veins.

Of course they wouldn't think of themselves as black or negro since those are ways cacs defined us :what:

People always defined theirselves by tribe/nationalities not skin color

No it’s not.

And again, it’s in the 1800’s not the 1600”s which is where your “cac” source should state.

By the 1800’s the Maroons via the Seminoles and up north like the Iroquois had mixed with ours ancestors making them “negro” — so what is you saying baby?
