The the numbers are growing. Look at how Nicki Minaj underperformed. Look at Cole's success. Look at the numerous hot singles that flop in record sales. Times are changing and with the recent police brutalities/ murders happening, people are forced to change their tone. Not much now, but that shyt is changing.

Their saying that she did better than what was previously speculated.

Nicki Minaj Debuts At #2

After weeks of speculation about the album's commercial viability, Nicki Minaj's Pinkprint sold a total of 198,142 in its first week on shelves and online. Minaj's third studio album was helped to the runner-up position thanks to a huge week of streaming numbers, topping out at 16,847,401 plays across platforms.

Minaj's latest record was given a four out of five in HipHopDX's review with writer Marcus Dowling writing that "The Pinkprint runs a middle path between pop over exertion and real lyricism, creating an everything for someone aesthetic that Nicki doesn't allow to shift into wastefulness. As such, it is an ambitious undertaking Nicki has wrangled in highly entertaining fashion."

She did lower than her second album. During the Christmas rush, at that.

A relationship between 2 industries to produce a product and a byproduct through the people influenced by music, who are poor disenfranchized black kids.

The payoff is to have untouchable status and political connections as long as they are feeding the machine dum dum. Ever notice how its always artists taking flack for their music and not the label executives.

Marilyn Manson too...a lot of these heavy metal artists catch shyt. The crux of it was perceived satanic subliminal messaging, whether credible or not.

Anyways I wrote the article in the OP. I'm glad some of you seemed to enjoy it or whatever. I let the thread go without commenting at first cause I wanted to see what you all thought. I'm glad some people are woke.

This is on point because it was written based on what has actually happened, especially recently.

No exaggeration either, that's what makes it sad.

It's a narrative of the current and past history of rap / hip-hop.
