Something didn't seem right about that Shmurda signing. Is it true that the music industry invests in the prison industrial complex?

Yes it does. These execs invest into that shyt so it can have more workers in the prisons aka black people without guidance. Its like killing 2 birds with one stone by having chart-topping songs about self-destruction and having fools actually believing that you gotta be about that life to be "real."

Luckily, people are waking up to this shyt and the direction of Hip Hop is slowly changing.

I don't think 100 percent complete solid evidence has come out yet but I wouldn't be surprised. People need to realize all these companies are owed by same people, they control multiple industries and work together on agendas.

The destruction of black males happened post civil rights/pre-crack era NOT during hiphop.:pharrell:

No. Black people were already on the path to self destruction before hip hop ever existed. What did record labels have to do with redlining black mortgages ? or giving black women housing and welfare while denying black men jobs ? what record label pumped crack and guns into the ghetto ?

Record labels are opportunists but they came after the seeds were already planted. You can't blame them for the aftermath of a situation they didn't create.

Nobody is waking up to anything. It's too late. It's over.
