KAT also doesn't have natural functional strength to get position in the post and then back down and make a move. That's why he always flailing at the rim

Even then, guys like David Robinson and Antonio McDyess weren’t great back down players but they’d at least face up and shoot from the mid range. KAT has a similar quickness advantage vs most bigs and can pass decent out of the high/mid post, but they just have him drifting as an oversized corner man.

And the very next game he’ll do all those things and score 40. But it’s almost 40 by accent; they don’t connect the dots that he needs to stay in the post and run the offense through him if Brunson doesn’t have the ball.

Been saying it for years. KAT has a weak core and base, does not have the strength to play in the paint
