I mentioned it years ago when he was in Minnesota: KAT gotta stop that early era Embiid bullshyt of tryna iso dribble drive to the basket from 25 feet out.

Lumbering full steam into a loaded defense then tryna decelerate, eurostep or try some 1-2 step finish is gonna lead to injuries like that.

Best thing Embiid did was embrace the pick n pop mid range jumper.

KAT also doesn't have natural functional strength to get position in the post and then back down and make a move. That's why he always flailing at the rim

The Knicks made the moves they did in the summer to directly counter the Celtics and somehow look like they have even less of a shot at beating them than last season with Randle.

:picard:

How is this possible?

Brunson and KAT are fine tbh

But Bridges and OG are redundant with 275 million tied to them. They only need one of them.

That first quarter of NYK tryna run the offense through those two was bad basketball and problematic that they still go that route 50+ games into the season.

Jokic, AD, Giannis, Embiid, even Zubac, catch the ball in the paint and cook. But New York still wasting half the game thinking KAT should roam on offense like Hartenstein. Somewhere between low iq and bad coaching.
