Nuggets ain't fukking around on defense.

Luckily I think the nuggets biggest issue on defense is effort. You can build a good enough defense around Jokic, but it requires him blitzing PnRs, which causes the other guys to have to fly around and rotate.

I don’t blame them for not wanting to do that for 100+ games, so as long as they can turn it on in 4th quarters and in big games, I’ll have faith they can turn it on in the playoffs.

i get some of the ball control stuff with luka, but that's probably one of the worst built teams in the league right now.

I understand why he does it right now. But even with Brunson there he was still over dribbling and pounding the rock. The next evolution to his game is to get off the ball and to stop pounding the rock. It makes it way too easy for good defenders to guard him…and makes it more difficult than it needs to be for him.
