??? He’s been an executive since 2017

Bridges got traded on draft night in 18 & cam in 2019. Idk how much input he had but he was in the war room.

I just don’t like when someone who is good at their job gets an unfair label because of recency bias. A putrid roster management move would be moved that failed like Luka & KP, or one that clearly isn’t working like the Gobert or Russ trades.
I'm not sure about the Bridges one, but I do know that he was GM during the Cam one as I remember people being :patrice: when they traded down and took Cam Johnson. I don't think that he gets enough credit for that CP3 trade and how it worked wonders for them especially with how they got him for less than the Lakers did to get Westbrook and that was with him coming off an All NBA year.

One of the rare times where a max contract actually worked out at that age.

Not sure what's going on with Garland.. maybe adjusting from the eye injury... but this is the 3rd consecutive game where he's kinda been trash. Holds on to the ball too long, dribbling into heavy traffic, no hustle or resistance on defense..

I guess Donovan doesn't want to ruffle any feathers bc there was no reason to have Garland taking those shots late when Cavs still had the lead.

Wesley Matthews can’t play the 3 or 4, which is what they really could use as Ibaka looks old and slow footed out there with not much to give them these days. They know they could get more for Allen than someone like Nwora especially since they don’t had the picks to add to the deal.

I get why they’d offer him in trades even if they could use his services.
I dunno. Seems super early to be making moves when they could move Nwora and Ingles come January. I wouldn’t trade a potentially elite shooter this early before you see how Middleton and Connaughton look.

Seems like teams make so many contested midrange jumpers against the lakers ….and conversely the lakers have no one to come off screens and score in that midrange on their side …not even a guard with a competent floater game
