I'd like to hear this argument you got, cause Bane is no where near the scoring talent off the dribble like shai. He can't create nor finish at rim like shai.

:what:

Have you been watching Bane? This is a point where I'm going to completely switch things over to stats and prove my initial point. Bane has made 30 3 pointers this season, Shai has made 7.

Shai is shooting 32% from the 3 point line while Bane is shooting 47%. You don't have to speculate, Shai won't be reaching Bane's percentages, he's a 35% career shooter from 3. Meanwhile Bane is 44%.

I highlight that to say that the thing makes Bane so dangerous, is he is an all around threat. He often gets room to the basket by selling his shot fake at the 3. He can finish over taller and stronger defenders with the way he protects the ball and finishes with runners. He cuts, relocates and dishes the ball out from the attention he is able to garner.

I saw Shai last night and although impressive, the lack of a 3 ball kills his game. So many seasons in the league and he can't drain that consistently to be a threat. It'd open up the game more for him and that terrible shooting team.

In conclusion, watch some games that aren't OKC only, because Bane has been fantastic this year.

As I've said, the way his team is built, he needs a 3 ball. It'll make his drives easier. He gets a lot of space from defenders. He hits the stepbacks for mid range 2s. Can attack the bucket. He's playing great but look at these teams, just like the Bucks, no top teams played yet. Let's see what he does then.

Not taking an under 10 game sample and say he's going to keep this scoring up for the rest of the season. That's not going to happen.

Dort, Giddey, Shai. That's a team you let beat themselves due to the lack of a 3 ball.
