We just hit November. Not worried about this right now. We showed last year that home court isn't necessary. We'll be fine come playoff time.
Crazy thing is, we've seen that NBA commercial with Tatum on warriors.
How bizarre would that be to see:
They're paying with a different ball.
Some of us are old enough to remember what happened last time they changed balls, and shooting percentages were out of control, and they ended up going back to the old ball.

The perception that he's a bad defensive player only comes from those who're not watching him play regularly enough, or fall into the trap of thinking a fat ass Euro is automatically going to be bad on defense. They see 1-2 plays where he's scored upon and use that to fuel their confirmation bias, in typical Casual fashion.
He has a 7-3 wingspan, a BBIQ that dwarfs 99.9999999% of big men in NBA history, and he's proven to have an abnormally high motor and endurance (playing a 65-minute game at his size doesn't make sense) - that's half the battle won on defense right there.

That explanation makes total sense as I figured something was up with the amount of players in the league struggling.
difference between this time and last time was that the protests about the new ball were immediate and complaints were heard before the preseason even started. top to bottom teams were raising hell
now, these dudes have an offnight or want to find an excuse and blame the ball after the fact
