Biggest goal for Poku this year is to gain 15-20 pounds so he doesn't look like a slight breeze would knock him down :pachaha:

Maledon looked really good though so that's fun.

U haters are funny man

Just say you aren’t watching the game he hasn’t pressed the issue to score. Every time he’s stepped on the court the Hornets look like a better team and go on a run. His defense hasn’t been bad at all in fact he has been engaged on-ball and he’s funneled his man into help defenders on several occasions and has crashed the defensive glass. So please tell me how he’s been a statue on defense tell me which Raptors guard has been burning him lying ass nikka :dead:

It’s a reason he’s only a -1 in a game his team trails by over 20 points.

He has 10 rebounds and 4 assists in just 16 minutes, several of his passes have led to fouls or hockey assists or were too hot for his teammates.

He looks like Jason fukking Kidd out there.
Let’s wait for the goal to get moved in 3...2...

His defense hasn't looked good at all breh. It hasn't looked awful but it hasn't looked good. He's missed a number of rotations and is lost as ever off the ball. On the ball, he's been solid using his instincts well but let's not act like he's the second coming of Kidd on that end. He's not even close to Kidd much less Zo on that end.

Zo is a much better finisher around the basket
LaMelo might be the better finisher he has a floater and has more size.

Zo literally can’t be a much better finisher he shot only 49% at the rim as a rookie and 27% around it.

Zo is better at catch and shoot threes while LaMelo is better at generating off the dribble threes and FT shooting.

The person I quoted said he’s been a statue on defense that’s not true. He’s been active on and off the ball and off the ball he’s been out of place or cheating for defensive rebounds but it’s not because he’s a standstill statue that’s bullshyt, also the Raptors didn’t capitalize. On the ball like you said he’s been solid and instinctual and like I said has funneled his man into help defenders one of those times led to a charge drawn by a teammate.

When you grab 10 rebounds in 16 minutes as a PG you’re going to positively influence your teams defense.

And Melo is shooting ZERO % around the rim and from 3 right now :russ: Shot 37% from the field and 25% from 3 in Australia too. Y'all keep parroting this "Melo's handle is GAWDLY and he's SO AGGRESSIVE, he's a NATURAL finisher compared to his brother"... yet he ain't never actually finishing and making shots anywhere on any court in any continent outside of his Ballislife mixtape from highschool :dead:. We all know he has great vision for his size... kid needs MAJOR, transformative work on literally every other facet of his game. Good luck to the young man, he's gonna need it.

U gonna keep citing stats from a 12 game sample size playing in a professional league? He’s close to 6’10 in sneakers getting stronger every year keep thinking he won’t be able to finish :mjlol:

No shyt he needs work he’s a 19 year old rookie

U coming in here acting like he played bad talking about his team down 20 :mjlol: :camby:

nikka, stop it! You sound silly right now. Zo's metrics as a finisher out of UCLA was one of his strengths and his finishing as a rookie was decent in the open court and insanely terrible in the half-court at 46% in the restricted area. Right now, Melo hasn't shown us finishing in the open or half-court in the NBA.

The last hasn't been proven at this level for Melo. We know Zo is a better C&S player as a rookie.

You going too hard for his scoring when everyone questioned it as a prospect and today didn't exactly do anything to change that belief.

Even at Spire, it was clear that he was the 3rd best scorer on a squad with only three potential NBA players.

Who cares about UCLA? Lonzo has declined athletically/explosiveness wise since then

I’ve seen more acrobatics and reverses from LaMelo below the rim and I’ve seen more instances of him taking the bump as he’s matured, with his size and his floater game I see him as a better finisher than Zo was his rookie year

Younging had a very nice debut and nikkas came in here trying to shyt that’s all
