So many always complaining about ESPN hot takes from Skip every damn day on here yet always being the first to eat them up freshly served 
Which is why im still not bullish on the nikka...for all his passing ability he still had 0 points against a predominantly bench unit...

Just say you aren’t watching the game he hasn’t pressed the issue to score. Every time he’s stepped on the court the Hornets look like a better team and go on a run. His defense hasn’t been bad at all in fact he has been engaged on-ball and he’s funneled his man into help defenders on several occasions and has crashed the defensive glass. So please tell me how he’s been a statue on defense tell me which Raptors guard has been burning him lying ass nikka
It’s a reason he’s only a -1 in a game his team trails by over 20 points.
He has 10 rebounds and 4 assists in just 16 minutes, several of his passes have led to fouls or hockey assists or were too hot for his teammates.
He looks like Jason fukking Kidd out there.

Oh yeah tbh I didn’t think he was going be shyt at all but I like he’s up I losing his size somewhat to his advantage. His shot needs a lot of work so we’ll see. This rookie class gets some slack cause they don’t even have a preseason
to be fair, the raptors are probably the biggest team he's seen in his life. the fact that he can rebound and see the passing lanes against a team that was just in playoffs a few months ago is waaaaaaaaaaay better than i expected
he knows what to do at least. his offense can catch up with what he's seeing imo....

Poku showed some flashes. he hasn’t played in over a year and he was the youngest player in the draft.
I don't think they are all that similar other than both are elite open court passers.
Zo is a much better natural shooter.
Zo is a much better athlete.
Zo has a better body type.
Zo has better lateral movement
Zo is a much better finisher around the basket
Melo has better instincts with rebounding and is an extremely aggressive passer and rebounder
Melo has a superior first step
Melo has a superior handle of the ball
Melo has a feel for the game in the half court
Both aren't much off the ball on offense as rookies. Zo has become decent at this stage at it, Melo is still young.
Melo scoring is much worse than Zo because he is a much worse shooter.
Melo has a superior shooting touch, this should help him on FTs and floaters as he gets more experience.
Both are extremely talented players but severely flawed.
Melo just appears to be a much better PG than Zo but Zo appears to be a much better player as a rookie.
