Hornets just look naturally faster with better passing when Ball is on the floor
LaMelo has a lot of work to do to be a scorer and shooter but passing and rebounding are as good as anyone I've seen play the game for a guard/wing. He looks like a baby Magic Johnson. His pass IQ is most insane. Once he learns how to be a floor general, it's over. This nikka handle and the first step has always been legit. He's gonna figure out his shot at some point. Melo is not a Luka or Westbrook rebounder, Melo can actually get boards like a mad man.

The one thing about Melo is his passing is more calculated than even those guys. His AST/TO rate was insane for someone who takes the risks he does. It's unheard of when you think about it. Melo easily should have been the #1 overall pick.
McDaniels has an intriguing skill-set. I want to see what he does in year 2.
