So the league saying they missed on 2 Giannis free throw violations in the game the Hawks won, like they gonna start calling it consistently now.

Also the US doesn’t have really great center options. AD coming off injury, Myles Turner coming off injury, Brook Lopez maybe didn’t want to have that quick turnaround after the playoffs.
But after that who’s left? Jarrett Allen? Andre Drummond? Richaun Holmes? Nerlens Noel? The best centers aren’t American anymore

He’s been a model citizen on the Lakers staff I dunno what the fukk this guy is talking about. Jason has done enough to earn another shot at least.
Ehhhh being a model citizen still doesn't change his past. It was obvious reason why he was relegated to the staff instead of being a HC and it was because of his checkered history and how it would be perceived.
Doesn't mean that he doesn't deserve another shot, but the criticism will be there whether people like it or not. It is what it is.

I’m not disputing his past, I’m disputing the commenters claim that EVERY spot he was in ended in a bad way when that’s not the case regarding the Lakers. It’s obvious he used that opportunity to lay low and just do his job and now he’s done enough to earn a shot from someone else.
For the record, I don’t think he’s head coach material but goddamn let’s at least make the slanderous claims factual out here because there’s plenty of that on his record already.
Oh I'm referring to his past and not the claim about alienating. If the latter was true, then he wouldn't be getting another opportunity now as we've seen coaches and players get blackballed for far less than that.

I don't believe in picking and choosing when/when not to bring up someone's past depending on whether we like that person or not.
