Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
:usure:

Did you not see me specifically write, "Yes, the injury cloud doesn't wane too far from Kyrie, but the Celtics have two elite-potential wings ready waiting in the wings."; I'm most definitely NOT trying to brush his injury-history aside, nor assign "perfect health" to him, you don't need to tell me about the state he's in/been in, I've acknowledged in the past that his career most likely will be cut short because of his injuries.

Injury cloud doesn't wane? I got a NY education, you gotta stop writing to me like Ernest Hemingway and expecting me to understand :gucci:

I'm simply giving laying out the alternative outcomes for both the Celtics and 76ers if their respective franchise pieces were out of the picture. Which is not only to outline to you that, it's a real possibility (given their respective states of health) but to show you that Boston has better pieces, in a better setup, to survive, if that were to occur.

I wouldn't be talking about either team if their franchise pieces are missing, that's not how we go about this, we assume best case scenario where everyone is healthy and in that scenario we know who has the better players. This would be like removing Hakeem from the equation to say the Suns had the better team than them without Barkley, I mean it's true but at the end of the day the Rockets had Hakeem. You can remove JoJo from the equation when he's no longer able to play at a high level, until then he swings the balance towards the Sixers.

And yes, Embiid is a better talent than both Tatum/Brown, but he's only ONE player, and a speck in the universe of what it takes for a franchise to have a successful future.

One player at a position where being a generational talent can go a very long way, especially in a league downsizing and a team that has Baynes and Moose at the 5 Embiid should be viewed as the nuclear option.

Why are you leaving out the important detail the 76ers continued to play him even when his shoulder still wasn't right? Why are you leaving the important detail(s) of their medical staff misdiagnosing/mishandling its players when it comes to injuries in the past?

:jbhmm:

You mean like how the Celtics left Isaiah Thomas out there?

Like I said, the Celtics have greater depth.

:hubie:

And the Sixers have the generational big :manny:

I was speaking in the context of this summer, if the pick doesn't fall where they want it to, they could make a move for a big man before the draft. It's still a valuable asset for the right suitor, regardless of where it falls. The second part of that portion of my post was centred around Horford's play going forward, as you seem to think his 'fall' and/or irreplaceability is this great factor in Boston's supposed ominous future. I was addressing both your points, separately.

Beloved, you're not getting it on this one, the draft pick belongs to the Sixers right now, if the draft were today the Sixers would be drafting 9th and keeping the pick. If the pick falls, it means they don't get it which turns into it the less valuable 2019 pick.

You're starting to turn the ball over at a crazy rate, my breh.

Lets keep this civil, more sure with the rock than CP3 :leostare:

Yes, it's worse (or not as good, if you need it to be euphemized), they're still in an unproven state, with no great foundation. I don't even see how this is even an argument? The Celtics are the #1 seed in the East (for the second year in a row), without their co-offensive anchor, reliant on a bunch of young'ns to contribute at a high level; greater stability (again), greater depth (again) and we can actually visibly see they're heading in the right direction.

They are relying on young players, they aren't being led by young players. I'll take the higher end talent, at the end of the day that is what matters in the NBA, foundation and coaching didn't stop the Spurs from getting their shyt pushed in by the Thunder who have a far worse coach, far worse situation and ran a rudimentary offense. You're also acting like the Sixers are completely devoid of talent outside of Embiid, I remember you calling RoCo an elite defender plenty of times, Saric is solid, Simmons is special in your own words, then they have the generational talent ontop of that in addition to max salary room and the LAL draft pick you're just giving to the Celtics.

I'm not even going to argue against the Bucks and Knicks - shyt should be self-explanatory. It seems to me you're just going to unload every [empty] clip you have on Ainge/Celtics until you have nothing left.

:lolbron:

Ainge tried to trade for Embiid, he knew what was up

Hell no they not

And is Portland D always this terrible?

I don't watch Pistons play all the time but this is the first time I haven't fallen asleep watching them in a while so to me, this is the most exciting they've been :yeshrug:
