When was the last time Dragic started an ASG ? :sas2:

If he was in the Eastern Conference the last few years, he probably could've

Before the Suns fukked up & signed Isaiah Thomas, Goran Dragic was coming off a season where he averaged 20 points, 6 assist, and shot over 50% form the field/40% from 3 pt range

Kyle's all star year, he put up 18 & 7 but shot 41% from the field & 33% from 3pt range

I mean, I'm not going hard for any of these dudes. They're both in the same bracket---2nd tier pg's

Some times, it's place & timing------> Seems to have been more advantageous for Kyle

Id rather have kyle...better defender too.I think hes going to beast this year based on what ive seen of him and his new physique...Hes much quicker in the lane...and tbh hes got a huge chip on his shoulder because of how last season ended...If he puts up numbers identical to 13-14 id be good but i think hes going to have a career year...

Ironically Kyle's 2013/2014 year was a lot better than his all star year (2014/2015) he just got snubbed.

You do realize the person that's posting the "advanced stats/metrics" is the one saying that Lowry is better than Irving, right?

Really, does it? Oh shyt, I never took that into account. Hold on while I go back to the drawing board.

You're speaking as if there's some great basketball injustice that Kyrie has committed, and Lowry is the one upholding the law - when he only averages between 1-2 more assists per game. I can use arbitrary standards for assists too - Lowry has only had one season averaging seven assists.

When are yall going to stop saying this nonsense?

:dahell:

Please don't tell me you're serious.
Go back to the drawing board then.

I don't care who is saying what. MY OPINION is Lowry > Irving

How is it nonsense when it's true? You play offense AND defense. When is Kyrie Irving gonna stop somebody?

Lowry's ONE season with 7 assists is ONE more than Kyrie's season with 7 assists. He's a better distributor and defender than Kyrie.

Comparing Kyrie to Lowry doesn't make much sense because both of these guys do completely different things for their teams...

Who you would pick between the two of you had to would need to be determined by the personal you have...

Lowry is not near the offensive player Kyrie is and Kyrie is not nearly the defender that Lowry is

The more scoring I have on my team the more I am going to want Lowry...the better defenders I have on my team the more I am going to want Kyrie

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
interestingly enough, one thing in common in both games was that their REAL starting pg who according to some isn't good enough to be in the league hasn't played at all, but these new pg's who are supposed to somehow 'replace' him have...

Hold up, you mean to tell me a 2nd round pick and a rookie can't defend 2 allstars? :lupe:

The bar for Rick Rubbish is so low "See, they do need him!" cause they lost by 10 instead of 8.

I know I was a bit harsh but it's no different from ppl shytting on Rubio... and there's some things you definitely can criticize him for but defense definitely isn't one. And I'm just going by what people are saying, that he shouldn't start/be in the NBA etc. when it's obviously not true...

Kyle Lowry > Kyrie Irving

fukk your advanced stats and metrics as well.
:camby:
This ain't baseball. I don't care if they're the "in thing" now.

Defense matters as well.

On another note:
Only once has Kyrie even finished a season with 6 assists....Lowry has finished with more assists per game every season he and Irving have been in the league.

I don't care how good of a scorer Kyrie is. There's more to basketball than just putting the ball in the basket.
Dude can't even average 6 assists playing with Kevin Love and LeBron James.

:rudy:

:dead:

A little more scoring and maybe the Raptors don't get swept, talk all that defense shyt you want, Kyle has come up short in his last 2 playoff appearances with homecourt and got completely shut down by Wall.

12.3ppg on 33% vs the Wiz :russ: who gives a fukk about assists, Tony Parker is at 5.9apg for his career with Tim and Manu, you don't need some PG orchestrating an offense and getting tons of assists.

Rubio has been a pro for damn near 10 years now, he can't shoot and he's at a position that has moved towards being able to shoot and score, he can do neither. He's a game manager in a league that needs dynamic play from the PG spot.

He is simply not a starter on a good team, plain and simple.

T'Wolves hasn't been a good team for years. And won't be soon. When he becomes the reason they're not succeeding, I'll admit I'm wrong.

Meanwhile when their record keeps looking better when he's playing vs. when he's not most of the coli will stay quiet :manny:

They won't succeed right now because they're young, by the time they're ready to compete he will be what holds them back. You can't have a non-shooting PG in the NBA now, if he can become a respectable 3 point shooter then I'd change my mind, but he can't finish at the rim and he can't shoot the J. Once he gives up the ball the Wolves are playing 4 on 5....

I mean come on breh, the Wolves see it as well, drafting PGs and making an offer on Bledsoe last year. I don't care what they say, their actions show something different and I'd put money up that this is Rubio's make or break season with them.

When has Lowry stopped anybody? It's not as simple as playing offense AND defense (using a one point scale), since a PG can only have so much impact on the defensive end - their play is HEAVILY reliant upon their anchor and their defensive system.

Again, you're looking at this wrong if you think him being a better distributor and defender means he's the better player. There's quite a few PGs in the league who're better distributors and defenders than Kyrie is, yet it still doesn't mean they're better players.

Can you explain why Lowry's distribution and defense makes up and surpasses the margin that he's behind in on offense?
