Is this your only response to anything when someone disagrees with you?
When someone says they're basically the same team for the last three seasons - of course I'm going to say that they don't watch them play. This team is a lot different from last season. They had one of the worst defenses last season and were near last in ball-movement - they're at the opposite ends in both categories this season. With another ball-handler who can run the offense and defend (Joseph), a legit rim protector (Biyombo) and one of the better 3+D players in the league (DeMarre).
You think Scola or Joseph(who I like and said is a top candidate for 6th man) takes them over the hump?
With DeMarre, an improved defensive unit and a focussed, trim Lowry and Derozan who're both playing the best ball of their careers? Yes.
At the end of the day this is still a Lowry/Derozan team with Casey and they haven't shown any reason to believe they will beat the top teams let alone win the first round.
THEY ARE ONE OF THE TOP TEAMS. :mindblown:

I mean shyt have you even been watching them play? Cleveland are the only team in the East this season who've been definitively better. Nobody else. Every other team have just as many issues (if not more), and equal/less talent - the Bulls, Heat and Hawks aren't above them.
fukk stats and numbers from the first two months. We've seen this numerous times from them the past only for it to curtail near the end of the season and them get washed in the postseason
Stop it breh. We haven't seen this numerous times from them. This is a different team. You can't compare them to how they've performed in the past. No matter how they perform in the playoffs this season will be indicative of what has happened in previous seasons, because they're not the same.

You need to watch more raptor games...demarre carroll has had almost no impact before he got hurt and the defense isn't good,it's very inconsistent...did the defense look good in any of those 3 games ??

way too many break downs and mistakes to be called a good defensive team...

Fam it's still a primarily iso Lowry derozan offense...there's anamolies that happen, last 5 mins of tonights game is the same almost every night....it's the backcourt taking turns getting shots off.
Fortunately wiz aren't good enough to defend it...
Didn't I just say that the principles and system are still relatively the same? That still doesn't take away from the fact that "iso Lowry DeRozan offense" is still top-10 in the league.

Why are you speaking as if the Heat, Bulls and Hawks don't have issues of their own on offense? Do you not know that the Heat and Bulls have had bottom 5/10 offenses this season?
Offense last year was great thru most of the season with no pressure, you saw in the playoffs when applied Lowry and derozan cannot adjust...you watched the butler 40 PT half...they couldnt score in the last 4 mins...when they were pressured.

It's a 3 quarter team...sometimes the numbers do not tell the story breh...
Do you know how many times the Bulls have had games like that this season? Far more than the Raptors, that's for sure. I'm not saying that the Raptors are some great, transcendent team or that they don't have issues - but they have just as good of an argument of being the second best team in the East as anybody does. I mean shyt if you watched those other teams play regularly you'd see why.

Cleveland is flawless when J.R hitting

Unfortunately he's rarely doing this

uh, he's a much better player when kyrie is out there to help take pressure off of him.

like in his last three he has 76 points and 18 threes on 60% from deep. Can't really say much more than that and in all three of those games he went over 20 points.

They have to beat to be in that discussion with them...a good defensive team that gives up a 12 PT lead in 5 mins at home :russ:

I said nothing about Miami or Atlanta cuz we done beat both they asses...but we're not in the discussion for 2nd best based on how flabby we were in those games...
