Says breh, any of yall have adjustable dumbbells? I've been looking at reviews for different ones and it's like for every good review you see there is someone else saying it's a piece of crap. I want to keep building up the stuff I have for my home gym. The nearest gym to me is planet fitness but I might have to rock with them :francis:

I've posted a few times about Powerblocks and how much I like them. That said, every brand/version is going to have someone who loves them and someone who hates them. If I had more space, I wouldn't have went the adjustable DB route.

I been in the gym. I used to 4-5x a week. I just have moved to generally hitting every muscle group each session for schedule constraints so consecutive days aren't necessary. In fact this 3rd day feels a splash irresponsible but I have to ensure my 3rd trip this week.

Wasn't as clean as I wanted but finally pulled 4 plates for a rep on the barbell. Hit it with the hex bar a couple weeks ago.

Forgot to keep the plate delt raise though :beli:

The good thing is DBs hold their value pretty well. Especially if there are tariffs on China (where a lot of them are made), you'll get good resale value on them on Marketplace if you don't like them.

Today’s shoulder and arm day was very very frustrating. Probably a 6/10 workout as my right shoulder has started acting up again. Had to use the machine lateral raises instead of using cables to preserve my shoulder. That’s two back to back days with modified workouts that force me to drop the intensity.

To cap it off, I looked outside after doing planks and I saw it started raining…AGAIN. Had to bike back in the rain :francis:

Regardless, a 6/10 workout is better than 0/10 so there’s that. Still 5/5 this week.

Sun will be back out by noon and the fields should be dry tomorrow for my soccer game :blessed:

Can’t wait to take out my frustration on the opposing team’s goalie :pachaha:

What gym are you going to? I used to go to the Fitness SF in SoMa. Quality old school equipment, not that new shyt that only hits your joints. Problem was way too many fruits in there.

I go to FitnessSF in Oakland by Lake Merritt. It’s pretty good for the price ($50 a month) but I do wish it were bigger and 24 hrs like the 24hr fitness I used to go to in San Mateo.

Problem was way too many fruits in there.

Bruh, it’s the B(g)ay Area for a reason. Even my spot got a fruity contingent as well. Probably not as many as SF proper.

Only seen like four women at my gym worth pulling up on but I just get in my workout and bounce :manny:

That one especialy tho bc it's close to Castro/Mission. They would come in there with leotards on like Richard Simmons. :scust:
