Well it wasn't new to me but the thought process being that for people that aren't very active or process carbs well it's better to not start the day with them.
:wtf: the best way to start your day is with oatmeal or something fiber related, which falls under the branch of carbohydrates, man I just can't :camby:

I think it has some application depending on the person. I see your point on oatmeal but I think the premise is more towards breads and more sugar based carbs. Oatmeal is a different animal.

Periodized training blocks are quite nice because they keep you on a specific set path but gotdamn does it get difficult when you hit the point where you start feeling like a monster, get greedy and wanna jump ahead. Those days where you can tell your body is primed to break some PR's but you know u gotta leave em in the tank.
