I have to keep reminding myself that I'm a novice and not to take on too much. Also, factoring in the reminder that I'm severely dyspraxic (google Dyspraxia!) and it's probably best for me to continue a steady and slow progression. Still very :scust: at how weak my upper body is. My lower body is very strong but upper body needs a lot of work.

It's possible to go vegetarian and still make lifting progress, right?

Between milk and eggs I can easily make up the lost protein

I won't really miss anything else

:yeshrug:

Should do - I'm a pescetarian (eat fish) and even that I don't eat ALL the time. I assume I can make it up.

Depends on what you mean by progress. Size, strength?

I don't think it will me as easy to replace the macros with milk and eggs alone.

Easily, I've been a vegetarian for four years now. Must admit I fukked up the first year and lost a lot of weight, once you get on that bean/nuts/dates tip though :wow:

100% almond/peanut butter :wow:

Dark chocolate almond milk :wow:

Kale/spinach/avocado :wow:

Plent of gains to be made, it just takes a bit more creativity.

I've total transitioned off pre-workouts and listening to music. Well I do get in an iced espresso.....................other than that walk in and go at it.

Cool little motivational story.
It's great seeing everybody looking out for the man and the man taking the responsibility to get himself healthy.

John “Tiny” Likely was always large. At the age of 8, he was no longer able to play pee-wee football because he weighed more than 200 pounds. He steadily gained weight until he was wearing 8XL shirts, and industrial scales weighed him in at over 500 pounds.

Surprisingly, everything changed when he started working at (and eating at) Zaxby’s.

“Tiny” tells AL.com he still wonders how he got the job. “A 500 pound person at a fast food place is almost impossible… I couldn’t keep up.”

They gave me hope. They actually believed in me

He mentions his trouble simply standing for more than 10 minutes and his inability to fit into the team uniform.

But he didn’t give up, and neither did his boss or coworkers.

Scott Brown, who hired him, gave him a gym membership. His manager at the time became his personal trainer, and some coworkers gave him nutrition tips.

“They gave me hope. They actually believed in me.”

They even worked with his schedule so he could have multiple short shifts.

“Tiny” now walks six miles every morning and does squat drills. He eats Zaxby’s Zaladsalmost every day, and has lost a staggering 250 pounds.

He has become an advocate for weight loss.

“Don’t be afraid if you can’t run a mile. Run half a mile. Or walk. I just wish someone had said to me as a child, ‘well let’s walk it together’.”

You can follow more of his weight loss on hisFacebook page.

Zaxby's? What a delcisous way to drop some lbs

The headline is a little click baity but if he didn't start working at zaxbys and have the support of his coworkers he'd probably never lose the weight.
When I 1st clicked it I thought dude sat up and ate chicken tenders all day to lose weight :pachaha:
