Read about GVT after seeing some of you guys post about it. Not sure if I'm ready to commit to a routine for six weeks (since my back is :ehh: and still getting better) but :whew: that shyt sure got me :dead: after trying it yesterday

I actually really like the challenge of 10x10 considering I think I havent been pushing myself as much recently (partly cause of the back but partly cause I was getting too used to my routine)

I took a break from the gym after going on sunday and monday, I did run today after starting back yesterday. I just did one lap, Im going to take this slow, move up to 2 laps next week. I hate running

i hate toning down my workouts but my knees have been killing me...i gotta tone down the running this week :smh:..but at least i ran back the leg workout yesterday after last weeks was too pathetic for my standards....got through it fine yesterday :boss:

There really is truth to setting up your big lifts the exact same way every time, the way you get tight, walk out, pull slack outta the bar whatever. .. . Take away all variables and you know as soon as u touch the bar what time it is that day. I honestly felt like ANYTHING I loaded on the squat rack woulda moved today

It's so hard to hold yourself back when ur on a periodized program (training for a meet hopefully in the late fall)


Enough nerd talk tho. Humid Minnesota weather = :yes: with the eye candy on those treadmills.

My usual warm up was using the stationary bike for 8 minutes or so and watching the TV on it, but this week I decided to use the stairmaster and not even 2 minutes in I start sweating :whew:. Think I'll use that from now on.

Not that it matters but why do people use instagram fitness hashtags on items that don't hit the hashtag?

#keto with syrup and whipped cream on pancakes :heh:

They trying to get them likes :pachaha:

I might be guilty on putting the #iifym tag on food where I have no idea what the macros are :snoop: :mjcry:

Had to replace my running shoes. I knew they were deteriorating but about 2 weeks ago after my run my feet and legs were hurting very badly. I had two big holes in the bottom...like you could actually poke through and touch the bottom of the insole :heh: Anyway went to the Merrell outlet yesterday and they were having a sale. Not only did they have my old shoes, they had another color, same style. Copped both for ~$120.:obama: Now I can get back on track.

Was able to do 10 reps of 170 on the flat bench. Hopefully it won't be too long till I can do 185 for 10 but I'm gonna be patient.
