So it's almost been a year since I've had a workout partner/consistent spotter that I work with. I'm feeling
being in the gym..been in hoop mode for months now. Doing flat chest exercises like 80% MAX. Then I decide to mess around with decline in IDK how long.
There is this old black dude who is a former Marine that's a trainer there always lurking around. I take the bait and ask him over...
"I haven't done decline in a while and I'm feeling pretty fatigued so I'll try for like 5 reps (205)."
"Yeah, OKAY....looks are deceiving I see."

Had this old dude making a scene calling me out on each set and yelling...ego checking me. I took the bait and I feel great..
I know I've been getting complacent and not pushing myself as hard as I used to.
