Gonna do farmers walk starting tomorrow. Would 3 sets of 60 seconds be a good starting point.

I do 3 sets of 10 for all my major lifts except deadlifts, hang cleans and power clean. I do 3 sets of 6 for those three.

How much can you drink prior to sunup?

My thought would be that you should be fine for the most part if you are getting plenty of fluids in before the fast and the night before. That said I wouldn't do anything in that workout that's going to cause a lot of sweating or really jack your heart rate up.


I ate like an animal the night before (bad idea) so this morning I couldnt really drink a lot, maybe close to 1 liter of water. But usually I think i can knock out 1-2.5 liters in the morning. The hardest thing is squats, I always sweat when I hit squats. But I'll let you know how it goes tonight. Thanks for your input bruh, you one of the most helpful brehs on here. always down to help a breh out.

Gonna hop on SL 5x5.

Might have to throw bench and rows in the bushes in favor of weighted dips and pull-ups. Bench aggravates my right shoulder and my form on rows just suck, it's usually akward.

My gym's only dip belt broke and they haven't replaced it for a few months. I might have to find a work around for the weighted part.

My right knee is kinda bummy, but I think it can handle the load with ice after workouts.

Gonna get started on Monday.

So it's almost been a year since I've had a workout partner/consistent spotter that I work with. I'm feeling :ehh: being in the gym..been in hoop mode for months now. Doing flat chest exercises like 80% MAX. Then I decide to mess around with decline in IDK how long.

There is this old black dude who is a former Marine that's a trainer there always lurking around. I take the bait and ask him over...:patrice:

:whoa: "I haven't done decline in a while and I'm feeling pretty fatigued so I'll try for like 5 reps (205)."

"Yeah, OKAY....looks are deceiving I see." :heh:

Had this old dude making a scene calling me out on each set and yelling...ego checking me. I took the bait and I feel great..:banderas: I know I've been getting complacent and not pushing myself as hard as I used to.

I feel I could have gone heavier. I think the trap bar deads made me stronger. Last time I tried zerchers with 245lbs for 10x10 and I damn near passed out on set #5
U do trap bar deads with a deficit right? Im seriously considering getting a rackable one. I would use it for shoulder press n wifey would use it for deads. How are they on glutes :scheme:

took it easy at the gym since I was fasting, I think this will workout ok. Chugged 3 liters of water within the first hour of breaking fast, I think Ima keep cutting up throughout Ramadan. Will update after Ramadan is over on how it went.

Not to sound like an Infomercial, but I used to hate squatting the bar would just kill my neck so was using machines most of this. That was until I purchased this:

Its amazing, no need to worry about pain on my neck/traps/back and just worry about squatting and hitting my legs. Find it much better than the foam ones or even using a towel.

Invest if you were like me and hated the pain on the back of your neck etc.
You mean the tampon :mjlol:

Real men don't use tampons....
