I've lost 30 pounds since March by changing my diet and eating healthier, and by lifting weights. Not much cardio at all. I stand at 250 lbs now, damn I look in the mirror and it's like nothing has changed. Man boobs, love handles, round belly looks the same from when I started....
It killed my happy mood today.

Did you take before/after pictures? Have you bought new clothes since then?
You see yourself in the mirror every day. I didn't notice any change until none of my clothes fit anymore.

I'm not saying throw the progress away but take sometime away from the scale and just keep doing what you are doing.
Coming from 280 is going to be a long process. 30 pounds since March is fast paced but you have to realize you didn't gain it quick and you aren't going to dynamically change your composition quick.I step on the scale everyday, more than a few times. When I wake, after I eat, before/after the gym, after I use the bathroom. Smdh. I really don't care as much about the number cuz I'm down 30 lbs and I still look the same, I just want to look different.
I went and bought a preworkout at a local gnc last week. The guy working asked me what are my goals, I said "get bigger than I am now but with less fat". He responded by telling I can't do both at the same time, I gotta choose one and work on it only. I rarely do cardio just started about two weeks ago, mostly do weights. I dare to say that might've had a mental effect on me.

You are doing it the textbook way for long term results that will look good, you just gotta keep at it.
