Squats - mostly quads
Deadlifts - lower back and quads
Lunges - both quads and hamstrings.
Step ups - mostly hamstrings.

There is definitely knee extension in any deadlift that's not strictly stiff leg
Not as much as a squat but some
I been doing lots of Romanian deads lately so I kinda forgotI mean obviously it's works my lower back as a first priority but I def feel it in my quads too but nothing crazy tho.
So you're saying you mostly felt it in your quads and abs?I tried the Zerchers
They were OK, nothing crazy. I was only on 135 so I don't know if the weight was too low but I didn't really feel the posterior chain activation. Really felt more like a front squat than anything.
I need to try it with more weight to know what it hits.So you're saying you mostly felt it in your quads and abs?
Why are they no go at home.... no rack?I was just readin some other forums topics on zerchers and they receive so much hate they aren't user friendly but once you get over that hump (most people just quit) they are fine. I was extra excited about them because I work out at home and back squat isn't a choice, so it finally allowed me to really hit legs
No my apartment is too small. I like the control I have when doing zerchers. It's relatively easy to bail out of the lift if you are failingWhy are they no go at home.... no rack?
I think I will use these, fronts and back squats to hit legs 3x/week
