@CashmereEsquire I add goblet squats twice a week

I`m not familiar with those. In all honesty Squats is all you need to build decent legs, everything else is a bonus. When I used to work out in an apartment gym they did not have a squat rack, only a Smith Machine, so for Legs I would just do Heavy Leg Press and Stiff Leg Deadlifts/Leg Curl machine. Compound lifts are king because they knock out multiple muscles in a single lift, but when you dont have access to a gym where you can do the big 3 (bench, squat, Deads), then is when you look up stuff that will hit each part of the muscle good. My first 5-6 months of lifting I did the Starting Strength Program, and once I got used to it I still kept the format and added 1-2 extra accessory lifts. It wasn't until I became an Intermediate lifter that I went to a 5 day bro split.

Goblets would be good for him. Full range of motion and now pressure on the back.

just started focusing using lat activation on my deadlifts, def feeling a big difference on the lift off.

Yup. Big difference for me.

I don't feel my hams working without my lats contracted. Used to be all glutes. A lot more power too, but of course a lot more tiring :whew:

Between this and going shoeless, my deads feel better than ever. :blessed:

Yea i didnt wanna waste tme until i was lean, i always figured i worked my core enough with compound movements.


Brehs Im so bloated didnt eat much during the day but 2 shakes and fruit for snacks and post workout then went to cookout last night and went ham.

I should have a beastly shoulder workout today though

When is Fogo?

Sunday night, so this will be my Sunday post workout meal, Gonna lift that morning (probably round 9 am) and have a shake and 2 bananas post workout then do cardio about an hour before Fogo. Then Monday I`m back cutting, probably won't start paying attenion to weight till maybe June because I`m probably holding a ton of water on top of actual weight gain. Goal is to get to 230 by Oct for my B day, and then 220 by year end, being that I`m not trying to lose 100 lbs this will actually be harder than a cut going from Obese to lean, because while I am "overweight" I have a lot of muscle mass.



Side note, anyone ever cop Joggers from Eastbay? Right now they got their brand Joggers 2 for 34 and free shipping, much cheaper than HM.
