that iifym calc said working out FIVE times a week a good clip my maintence is like 2kish :wtf:

shyt blew my mind. welp, at least this spurred me to adhere to that whole perfect diet thing. I used to just say I got protein in i'm good :ehh:

now i'm measuring carbs, fiber, fat, the works.

i'm forsee a good increase in gains with a perfect diet :lupe:

2200 aint no bulking calories. You aint gonna gain shyt on that even at 135 lbs

I bulked for a yr on like 4000 calories, got strong as heck but was swole:flabbynsick:, it was fun as hell but i will never do it again.

life has been majorly in the way but slowly i'm getting back on my training stee. moved into new house mid dec, was in cali for a week and half thru new years, came back and got slammed w flu and was out of commission for a full 10 days. finally back on track w weights last week. going back to pulmonologist tmrw for follow up beathing tests. the flu destroyed my lungs, may have even developed asthma. hoping it's just temporary but my last few cardio sessions have been pretty awful. turned 35 today and i feel every of day it, but doing my best to get back at it. 2 kids, commuting, a house i didn't anticipate maintaining thru this sh!tty winter, all doing their best to keep me out of gym though lol.

how you doing homie? you check out any of those zeppelin tunes?

Jogged 4 miles and worked on bicep.
I worked on 30 lbs dumbbell curls for 10 reps so that felt good.

Signed up for my marathon today. $108.25 (8.25 "processing fee"). No turning back now! I'm having surgery on the 20th of this month and I'm hoping recovery time is fairly short, according to my doctor it is so I can start training seriously in March. My friend suggested I focus on eating and weight training for the duration of this month and pick up the running in March so I'm going to do that. Plus by March it shouldn't be as cold and I can be more consistent in getting my miles up.

I jogged another 4 miles straight yesterday at a little bit faster pace. I hate not having heavy upper body days anymore. It ain't the lyfe. :snoop:

I'm heavier than I have been in at least 2 years (intentionally, not by accident)

Said I was done bulk/cut cycling but fukk it did it anyway:yeshrug:

In my most recent leanest state I was 158, past bulking cycles I have quit once I got up to around 167 because I felt i was getting too fat (I hate losing abs). Today I'm up to 169 and not even panicking yet. So I think I did a better job putting on actual muscle this time instead of just fat.

Didn't do much different other than I only used bulking calories on my lifting days, then used maintenance calories on my non-lifting days. In the past I used bulking calories every day.


EDIT: Oh wait, I DID do something else different this time. I bumped up my reps from 5 average to 8-10 average on compound movements.
