How do we feel about dudes in classes brehs :patrice:

Something about it just dont seem rite :patrice:

I got some highly branched cyclic dextrose coming Wednesday.... hopefully it will help me fully kick my caffeine addiction without fukking with my sleep :lupe:

dude..why would you ever take intra-workout sugar instead of caffeine?

200mg is perfectly safe for everyday use and will give you better results than sugar, especially if used with beta alinine or something

Why would you want the empty calories rather than caffeine?

That stuff is for endurance athletes like marathoners and cyclists. For weight lifting you might as well have a bowl of oatmeal 2 hours before your workout, it will achieve the same goal.

Now....that being said....I actually myself often drink a protein/dextrose mix during my workout when I am trying to cram calories. It has gotten me am extra rep or two here and there, but nothing compared to what a simple caffeine based pre workout can do.

You had a great combo before....caffeine/BCAAs is godly. 200mg shouldnt mess with your sleep

Glutes sore as hell today. Did single leg barbell bridges with 225 and bulgarian split squats after.

I should be but it surprising it would mess with him if it's taken before 2-3pm.

People's caffeine sensitivity varies. Mine is super high. I could probably workout for 2 hours with caffeine. Go all nite :demonic: :udgoraw:

But then the flip side of that is when it comes time to sleep, I'm still charged up and ready to go. No bueno. So its not a net plus.

HBCDs help level out blood sugar during a workout.... so while you don't get that turbo boost like caffeine, you don't get that hypoglycemic "bonk" ~45 minutes in. At least that's the theory. I crash hard with that too so anything helps.

props.

what kind of grip works best for pull-ups and chin-ups? wide, close, or regular?

Strictly from a forearm perspective I don't think it really matters. You may get differing opinions on this though.

I forgot about wrist/hammer/reverse curls as well.
