Getting steps in on vacation is easy. Minimum 20k a day. It's the lack of resistance training i hate. It was difficult finding hotels w/ gyms in Spain/Italy, not much of a lifting culture there. Istanbul there is but I stayed in the ancient part of the city where the hotels are less modern.

Nutrition stayed on point most of the trip until Turkey where every corner sells baklava and candies. :wow:

I would fold at the Baklavas

I think Europe is easy for steps but I’ll be in Eastern/Southern Africa so might not get as many steps in unless I go shopping at malls and the like.

Cardio is the main thing I need and I’ve packed my workout clothes.

I may take a pause from resistance training and come back stronger word to @xXMASHERXx

I’ll see how I feel when I get on ground.

If Nairobi or Kampala you should find gyms ok.

Stepped on the scale today and what a pleasant surprise…hit milestone 1 with about a week to spare :wow:

I’d been yo-yoing for the past 2-3 weeks and then…WOOSH. A quick/sudden drop. Down 20lbs since start of the year and I went 18/18 in the gym this month on M-F, even today before my flight.

The process is working. The process is sustainable :ohlawd:

Will take a light break for these next two weeks on holiday then will come back and go hard for milestone 2 right before Memorial day weekend. I’ll still get in cardio and some light weights on holiday though, need to maintain.

When I get back I’ll move to 4x a week lifting and start with boxing or another day of soccer.

:wow::blessed:

Yea my spots all have gyms so I’m sorted.

Got my Apple Watch free, and son is fully walking so I’m back on the move-starting off walking more for now and gonna pick up some running sneakers to get out as it’s basically summer now

Walking is so so underrated. Try for 10-12k steps a day.

Gets you moving but unlike traditional cardio eg jogging or cycling, you don’t get ravenous hunger when you’re finished.

Outside of eating better and getting in the gym regularly, I do think walking has been a game changer for me.

I just got off of a baklava binge like a month and a half ago...... I never tried them before even though I do travel a lot and am very adventurous with food..... wish I hadn't.... them shyts are definitely my favorite pastry right now and I am already a pastry crack head...... I have been good since the binge..... i went sooo overboard I had to just straight up instill military level discipline....... I don't know what would happen to me in Turkey.... I'd be cooked...
